Her past life didn't go well contrary to what she've expected. Except for experiencing multiple deaths and having a golden contract with a divine black 'stuffed toy' like cat, nothing seemed to enjoy her.

After that kitty cat owned (first name) (last name)'s soul through a contract, it made her do countless mission in countless places--- even to different dimensions where she can't do anything but live, lie and do her job unless she wanted to die and be locked in the darkest and deepest place of hell which is called a void. A place where she will be the only one in that shithole with no light, sound and things, anything but her. Well, what else is a soul's punishment for playing and cheating death?

That shithole is a mercy for her.

Currently, her mission is to do a year's job of trading drugs underground. Something her 'savior' wanted to watch as if she were an entertainment star doing some awesome shit in a place and time she were stranger to.

After enduring the 'living hell', she manage to survive for almost 12-fucking-months under the rule of a man named Lau, owner of a trading company but have illegal activities beneath the surface.

And she managed to be the manager of his opium business, where she can sigh in content knowing her job will be done in no time.

But she thought it wrong. Critically mistook everything.

Her man-like mindset and heart became womanly whenever her boss walk near her, or whenever her boss caught her staring at him, or whenever she will see him smile or whenever---- to sum it all, he can make her defenses crumble.

Woah, there, mate. Wake up, when you reached the 12th month you will leave him

That thought have been her wake up call whenever she would want to confess her pent up feelings.

"The money first, mate." she said while ticking her fingers on the wooden table.

One night from now she will have to leave, meaning, she will disappear again and meet her benefactor. And by one night she means tonight. When the clock strike midnight, she will disappear from this world.

The man reluctantly gave a black bag, quietly cursing the ridiculous price of a 2.5 kilo of drugs which he will devour before giving it to their boss.

The transaction went well, except for the buyer who raised a gun and point it towards her. Fuckers, she ain't dying now that her time will be up.

Of course, having a dangerous job means flaring guns and booming bombs. And so before the buyer could click the trigger, she already killed them, and upon hearing gunshots, her men automatically killed the henchmen of that nasty old man.

"You shouldn't do that, (first name)." that voice froze her. And she slowly turn to see the man, with his sister in his arms.

"I'm sorry, boss. That buyer's cocky." she shrugged when the closed eyes chinese nodded, gently caressing his sister's shoulder.

She felt that envy, seeing the emotionless lady warm in the arms of her beloved. But she have to endure, knowing that she is just an extra and temporary actress of Lau's drama series called life.

Curse that black kitty cat for not warning her about falling. Curse that animal who enjoy her hardships and have the heart to eat popcorns while she do the 'golden act' it wanted her to do.

"Well, it's a win-win. We didn't lose drugs and we gain money!" she exclaimed, hoping that her boss will understand.

He sighed before giving an envelope to her.

"Make sure to prepare this before the next day. " she tried to open her mouth to explain her situation but closed it in the end.

Well, she just have to give the task to someone from her henchmen and evanescing from this world.

The day went completely fine, enough for her mind to focus on what is going on and eventually forget about her upcoming demise.

Then the night came, her heart began to break as she reminisce the events in her dark and quiet room. Her decisions to let their relationship to be a boss-employee one so she won't leave with a heavy heart.

Unnoticed by the lady, the disregarded cat look outside the window while licking its paw. It realizes the case of its beloved actress and is torn between two contrasting choices: to give a new life to her, or to get her to fulfil another mission. But it ain't heartless, so he chose that one for the better good.

It transformed into its humanoid form and went inside the room in a pulse speed.

"(First name), my little mate. Having a hard time leaving?" it sit beside the lady and lighted the room by several fireflies.

"Just do your job, you kitty cat. End this now."

The humanoid cat chuckled. "I think I may have to extend your stay. It's quite entertaining to see your sufferings like that."

"Fuck you."

"I have a very bad news to you." the lady snapped at the humanoid being, still hugging her legs and hiding her face on it.

"I receive an order to give my henchman another role. So... Yeah...." her world crumbled but she mustered her strength to stand up, gently patting her skirt.

"Then let's get this over." by some strange reason, the cat smiled for the very first time which sent her to the doors of doubt.

"Live in this era as the Queen of Diamond of an unnamed organization. Of course, memories will be sent to your unknowledgeable brain to be more realistic." she hugged her fellow tight, tears streaming down her eyes.

"Don't--(first name)---GET OFF!" the cat shout in irritation and so she did what she's been told to.

"But you have to start from the beginning. Your love issues, I mean."

"T-that's enough. Thank you." she wipe the tears before calming down.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's start this!" a golden chain-like light appeared around her neck and broke to golden dust. She gape and turned to her side but the cat have disappeared.

Yes. Maybe this is the sign that she have paid for her sins. Before she sleep, she said something to herself a thing.

Lau, this time, this LAUless life I have... I will make sure to confess my feelings. Definitely.
