Second Round Romance in the Heights

The Moving on - 1

      It's an early busy morning for a business woman like Marian. She'd wake up at 8:00 in the morning, prepare food for her kids before going to her office. That's her routine on weekdays.

      It's been two months now when her husband left for good. Though she always wanted him to step-out of her life, she still found it difficult to adjust to new routine without her husband, now her ex-husband.

     While busy preparing breakfast for her sons, the doorbell rang..recognizing who's at the gate, Marian came running to open up Reynold, he's been her good friend since college. Though irritated by his somewhat-bully behaviour, she welcome him and open the gate.

     "Am I late?", Reynold ask Marian. "It's alright!", she replied. " What do you  want to eat?", she added. "I want to do the cooking again, I know you'll be glad". He said this while smiling. He really knows that Marian isn't really fond of cooking and she had a wide smile while closing the gate.

    The two enjoyed the chitchat in the kitchen. Since Reynold is a cheerful and a positive man, not to give emphasis on being bully...

    Marian is a picky eater and does not have interest in foods but with her friend, she's enjoying every meal because Reynolds along with their other friends from college love foods in any way who always come to visit almost every evening.

    The kids are awake now due to the smell of fried bacon and garlic rice, upon seeing uncle Reynold they knew their breakfast is as delicious as the foods served in the 5 star hotels.

   All of them, enjoyed the meal. Reynold who is a close friend to all of them, loves to visit every morning to cook for breakfast. He live in the town next to theirs but it doesn't bother him. He'll drive and be there most of their mornings.
