Famished, Andrea decided to enjoy tasty lunch for herself and went straight to the restaurant she had just looked up online. She was up for a sushi buffet!

Salmon, Tuna, sushi and a bunch of tempura filled her table in an instant. She was happy with her food choices. As she indulged happily, a tall and very handsome man decided to join her table without any invitation.

"I am very sorry to ask, but may I please join you? I can see that you are eating alone and there are no other tables available. I am also here on my own out for a quick lunch."

That was not really true, there was one other vacant table on the far end of the restaurant but it was rather inconvenient for him.

Andrea then looked around and hesitated for a minute but allowed him to. "So long as we have our own plates". She said with a blank expression and instantly went back to her sashimi. She did not bother to look at him properly.

The man couldn't help but frown at her expression. He was not used to being ignored nor taken lightly, but he thought it was a good thing. He can finally enjoy a good meal without being disturbed.

"You're not from around here?" the man asked pointing to her luggage.

She looked at him and before she could answer, her eyes opened wider taking a better look at the man in front of her. Suddenly, she was drowned with emotions and became teary-eyed. She froze for a minute or two just looking at him.

"I've been told my looks can be distracting, I guess your look right now is the most unique expression I have ever received!" He pointed out to Andrea's cheeks now flooding with tears.

Andrea instantly wiped her tears away with a tissue, slightly smudging her thick makeup.

The man looked at her in surprise. Seeing part of her face being cleared from make-up, the shade of her foundation obviously did not match her skin tone.

"Excuse me for a bit, I'm going to wash my face", Andrea explained as she stood up walking towards the ladies' room.

Moments later, Andrea came back with a clean face. "Well... At least, I can now eat without worrying about my lipstick!"

"Hmmm..." The man looked up to acknowledge the girl sitting in front of him and began to see things in slow motion. He was in utter disbelief.

The girl had a clear fresh-looking angelic face. She had porcelain skin and one can barely see signs of pores. She had cherry-colored lips and the same can be said with her slightly rosy cheeks.

'She is beautiful...'

He could not believe this was the same person who had sat before him earlier. He thought to himself, 'Shouldn't make up supposed to make one more beautiful?' This time around, it was his turn to stare.

"I'm sorry about earlier. I did not mean to be rude, looking at you that way," Andrea explained. "It's just that... You looked like... well... you remind me so much of my dad!" She paused for a bit and continued, "I miss him so much."

The man almost choked at her words. There he was thinking she was awed by his beauty. Apparently, he looked like her dad.

"I'm glad to have reminded you of your late father... Though, I am not that old. haha," the man laughed at the thought of being made into a father figure.

"He is not dead!" Andrea glared at him. "We just have some family issues and I decided to leave home."

Andrea paused for a minute thinking about her adoptive father and decided she would call him later in the day.

The two strangers continued to eat their lunch and later on started with dessert before having another conversation.

"Just out of curiosity, are you an actress?" The man asked.

Andrea frowned at his question. "What makes you think that?"

"You were wearing such thick make-up earlier, making you into a whole different person. Like you were hiding your identity," the man explained.

"Oh that. Haha." She laughed thinking about the stupid transformation in order to get through the selection process to get a job.

"Well, I am applying for Lu-Wei's CEO as a personal bodyguard... and guess what? One of the primary qualifications was that the female bodyguard must be unattractive! Haha! Can you believe that?"

The man looked at her in surprise. 'She is a bodyguard?' He thought to himself. He quickly studied her and realized she had a great upper body. Though she had covered it well enough, one could tell she was well built.

Andrea continued to talk about the qualifications and exclaimed "The CEO of Lu-Wei Enterprises must be a womanizer! That could only be the explanation for having such an outrageous requirement for a female bodyguard."

The man coughed at her words and started massaging his temples. He kept thinking about how in the world did this happen.

He quickly took out his phone and sent several text messages.
