I woke up and looked around. I cocked my head to the side when I noticed that Torin wasn't here. I got up and walked around. The stone floor felt nice on my feet. I threw my hands up in the air and said
"Welp, I give up, he isn't here." I turned and saw Torin with a puzzled look on his face. He was brushing his teeth.
"Of course I'm here," He said with the brush still in his mouth "It's not like I can leave you alone in my time. You don't know anything about here." He turned and went back into the bathroom.
My hands were still in the air and I had my lips pierced together and I bet I looked quite funny right then. "Have you been in there this whole time that I was looking around?" I asked peaking my head through the door way.
Torin was at the sink washing his face, "Yeah, I heard you running about and then you spoke, so I decided to scare you, in a way."
"You didn't scare me..."
"Didn't I? You looked pretty scared to me." He smirked and put his face back under the tap.
I walked over to him and relaxed on his back. He was bent over the sink so all I saw was a perfect head/body rest.
"Hey, get off!!!"
"Hush, head rests don't speak." I said snickering.
He flung around and caught me right before I fell. "Head rest? You were using me as a body rest, you little twerp."
"Is that in anyway a proper way to address your student?"
"You're not my student yet." He said turning.
I looked down and realized what I had just said. "Sorry. I was trying to make a joke. I used to use that all the time when you got angry and called us "twerps" and such. It always brought your mood up." I said trailing off and crouching down to the floor.
"I wonder how I feel right now... in your time." He corrected himself. "Loosing you twice must be hard on me." He stated.
I could feel my eyes start to water when I thought of that. He did try to save me. "I don't know." I said.
Torin crouched down beside me and hugged me tightly. "Anyways, we should put the future behind us... did that make any sense." He said and chuckled.
"Not really, but ok." I said and smiled. We both got up and got ready to go to the archives.
Not much happened at the archives, we looked through some old dusty books and didn't find anything useful. "I think that we should see the head of the town. He might know what we could use to get you back to your time."
"Torin, I think that we should wait until tomorrow before we see the town leader."
