When I woke up, I noticed that it was still a bit dark out. "Five, maybe six."
"Huh?" Tobias said sleepily.
"Sorry. We should get moving soon. Tobias? Get some sleep. I'll take watch."
"Sure thing, Myori." He said hopping down.
I kept a watch out for a few hours until it was bright enough to make a safe journey back to the strong hold.
"Ok, sleepy heads. Time to journey forth."
When they didn't move, I 'nudged' them with my foot to get them going. Tobias and I helped Torin up and we began to walk.
We arrived at the strong hold where they took Torin and Tobias to get treated. They offered to treat me, but I refused and said that they should focus on the people who need it more. I tended to my own wounds.
I went to the guards' post to hear any news. "Hey guys," I said. They shot around not expecting to me. "any good news?"
"Yes actually. We won. We were able to force the enemy back to their borders and I think that they will be staying there for quite some time." One of the guards said with a smile. (lets call him guard one)
"That is great to hear!" I said beaming with a smile.
"We missed you three here. Our new member and two of our greatest fighters. Where did you come from anyways? Torin didn't tell us much," (guard one)
"Just that you suddenly fell out of no where at his feet." (guard two) the guards snickered.
"For your information," I paused.
"Yes? We are interested to know!" (guard two) he said.
How can I phrase this without sounding insane? I don't know.
"Hey! Are you two picking on Myori? If you are I'll whip your asses."
"Torin!" I ran over and hugged him.
"Uhhh, Torin. How are you feeling?" (guard two)
"Better. I really missed being at home, seeing familiar faces." he said directed at me. He was still
holding me under his arm.
"That's great to hear, Torin! I hope your ready for the new year soon." (guard one) said wiggling his eye brows.
"Right. I forgot that I'm one of the new sensei's." he laughed sarcastically.
"You're a sensei?" I said looking up to him and then putting down my head to hide my giggling.
