"What do you mean marriage mom? I just turn 16!" Chaeyoung yelled.

"It's only the planning state, Chaeyoung. We're gonna discuss it first." Her mom replied.

Chaeyoung sighed. "Okay then"

Chaeyoung was daydreaming and she suddenly got a text from Momo.

Yo Chaeie! I'm doing a secret Santa this year with all the gurlsssss. Wanna join?

"Ofc, how are we gonna know who to give the gift to?"

Come to my house tmr, we'll have a box with people's names.

"Okkkkkkkk, clear. See ya tmr!"

Chaeyoung swings her legs around excitingly until the realization hit her.

"Wait, mom, what time are they coming tomorrow?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Around 1 PM tomorrow, why? You're going to Momo's?"

"Oh, yeah, she asks me to join her for secret Santa tomorrow, how long is the...discussion gonna last for?"

"About 1-2 hours, maybe less"

"Okay, I'll tell Momo the time I'm gonna arrived"

Chaeyoung was texting Momo when she realized something again.

How did mom know that I'm going to Momo?

It might have been just a coincidence, but after all, her mom might have been the one that sends the people to stalk Chaeyoung and Mina.

Maybe she set something on Chaeyoung phone so she can see the text messages? Chaeyoung decided to not text Mina for that day.

Chaeyoung woke up, her hair was messy. She stared at the ceiling, thinking about her life.

She then looked at her penguin stuff animal, she holds it in her arm. She got up, brush her teeth, she checked the clock. It was 11:30 AM.

She picks out a nice outfit to wear. She went downstairs to the scent of food.

"Up early today Chae?" Her dad said in the kitchen.

"You're not going to work dad?"

"My company is having a winter break, just like you with school, but shorter."

"Ahh..."

"What about you? Wearing a nice outfit, woke up early, you're going somewhere?"

"Oh...not exactly, I heard that Mark and his dad is coming over..."

"Ah, that. I see."

"Also dad, where's mom?"

"About her...recently, she had been upset about something. She said that she lost something important. I can relate ever since I lost the letter from-"

Her dad stops himself.

"Here's your sunny side up egg that you like Chaeyoung."

"Your mom is at the supermarket, buying some gift for the visitors today."
