"Two rooms, two days." Stacy said to the man behind the counter. "How much is that?"
"80 bucks." He said, looking at her like he was daring her to pay for the rooms.
She pulled a hundred out of her back pocket and smacked it on the counter.
Surprised, he picked up two pairs of keys and dropped them on the table for her. She handed one of the keys to Steve and held the other.

Steve's room was opposite ours but I was still worried, it was getting dark and Stacy had drifted to a happier mood. She sat on the carpet watching Friends and occasionally turning to smile at me or say something stupid.
The little black phone rang. She picked it almost immediately.
She didn't say much to the person who called, she just stood there watching me play around with the sheets on the bed.
"Yeah, Via said she'll be here in an hour."
"That's like 10:30." I said.
"So?" She said as she got on the bed and sat beside me. "More time alone."
She angled her face over mine perfectly, slowly getting on top of me. She squished my face together with the tips off her fingers, and clashed her lips with mine.
Everytime I struggled to get her off me and she only pushed me down harder. I stayed still as she pulled my skirt higher and kept me in a chokehold.
She pushed her fingers into me and I kept my mouth shut. Knowing that my reactions would only get her more excited. Her grip on my neck tightened as she continued.
I didn't want to hurt her. I just needed her to stop. I wanted to scream Steve's name but I didn't have enough air, and if I did she'd do absolutely anything to make it hurt more.
I can't breathe.

Mother stumbled loudly into my room. She smelled like beer, as always.
"Stacy, Daddy's back." She slurred. "I'm tired, so go cook him some dinner.""What about Via?" I asked loudly.
"It's also your responsibility to run a household Stacy." She said without looking at me.
Father sat on a chair by the kitchen counter. He smiled when I walked in. He watched me walk around the kitchen looking for something to cook.
"Where's your mother?" He finally asked after moments of silence.
"She's tired." I replied without turning around.
"And Via?" He asked as he got up from his chair.
I shook my head. I felt his shadow behind me. He ran his fingers through my hair. "Look at me." He whispered in my ear.
I turned to look up at him, he was just about a two feet taller than me. He grabbed his chair and told me to sit down in it.
"You promise to keep a secret?" He said still running his hands through my hair.
I nodded.
He held my hair up in a ponytail with his left as he unhooked his belt with his right.
"Daddy needs a favor, " He said as he let his trousers drop to the floor."And Daddy knows you can help him."
Steve's POV
I could hear her. She wasn't loud but she was clear enough. She was trying to say my name. I didn't move a muscle.
I felt stupid. Even after yesterday, when she opened up to me about Stacy. I still just sat there, listening.
I wanted to walk over there and throw Stacy off of her. I want to be the one with her in there. I want to hear her say my name like that.
Stacy was panting louder and slowly losing her grip on Angel's neck. I could hear her saying Stacy's name now.
I closed my eyes imagining that she was here with me, saying my name like that and I slipped my hands into my jeans.
I don't know how much longer it lasted, but by the time thet had quieted down, my jeans were soaked.
I ran over to the toilet to clean myself up. I tried to stop thinking about her but that only made if worse.
I wanted to run my fingers through her hair again, and touch her and hear her groaning underneath me.
I want her.
