The Bougie Life is also about healthy eating habits. Before I started as Lifestyle Editor at the Harbour Express, I really didn't know where to go or what to eat. Every website, every paper, and every teen magazine I found didn't recommend socially responsible dining. Eating was a real bore.

Now, with this guidebook, you should be able to know where to eat, what to eat, and how you can contribute to the circular, green economy, here in Hong Kong. WE CAN ALL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

First, we need to talk about eating at home. We all get it. The times when you're feeling conflicted on the inside: Where to eat? Is it vegan? Is it committed to social justice? How much quinoa stock do they have?

The Bougie Life is all about asking THESE important questions. We have a climate crisis going on and change must come!

I became the person I am today because I was really passionate about the climate and the high life. I thought it'd be so cool if someone became a climate activist who could also show us where to eat, shop, and look awesome: so I did that. I've had the enormous privilege of speaking to some truly amazing people at the Harbour Express, and as Lifestyle Editor, I'm truly happy to have such a team with me. 

So buckle up, I'm going to take YOU on a ride through Bougieland!

To truly live the Bougie life, you MUST buy 100% locally source, organic ingredients. You can purchase your foods from the BOUG farm here in Hong Kong. At the Boug Farm, our food is all made on my rooftop. From cabbages to tomatoes, we grow all the basic vegetables we need to contribute to the circular economy. All waste must go into a compost heap.

The Bougie Life is also the waste-free life, hence the need for there to be zero plastic use.
