The next morning Riker waked me up with kisses. ‘Good morning babe’ he smiled ‘I made us breakfast.’ ‘Wow, really?’ ‘Yes, put some clothes on and come outside.’ He said and got out the tent. I dressed myself and thought about last night, it was awesome.
I got out of the tent and smelled French toast. ‘Wow…. Riker!’ I said. There was some cute blanket on the grass and a basket full of delicious food. Like a picnic. I sat down and we ate, talked and laughed.
‘Riker, can I ask you something?’ I asked serious. ‘Sure. What is it?’ ‘Are we… You know… officially boy- and girlfriend now?’ I asked nervous. ‘Yes, I think so.’ ‘Good’ I said ‘because I really like you. Like a lot.’ ‘I love you too.’ Riker leaned over and kissed me.
The rest of the day we spent inside watching movies and cuddling. We had pizza for dinner, Riker went home around 10pm and I went to bed.
In the middle of the night I got woken up by the sound of the door. I was wondering if it was my mom, finally coming home. But the footsteps I heard walking up the stairs totally didn’t sound like the footsteps from mom! I was scared. It probably was a robber. He was so close to my room already, it was too late to hide and call the cops. I pretend to be asleep, with the hope he ignored me and did not hurt me.
I heard my door, I knew he was watching into my room. I felt his eyes in my back. After a minute he closed my door and walked to my mom’s room. I hoped she wasn’t home so the robber couldn’t hurt her. I was really scared so I grabbed my phone and texted Riker. I heard stuff falling in my mom’s room, footsteps running of the stairs and someone leaved the house.
After a few seconds later I heard someone knocking on my window. ‘Hey, open up! It’s me, Riker!’ I walked to my window and saw Riker on my balcony. I opened my window and he climbed in. I started crying, he hugged me and whispered ‘everything is going to be alright.’ I hugged him tighter and he asked ‘is he still in the house?’ ‘No, he left the house. I think he saw you walking in the garden.’ I said while I sat down on my bed. Riker sat next to me. ‘Thank you’ I said and I started crying again. He hugged me, kissed my forehead and said ‘I’ll stay with you the rest of the night.’
We laid down and cuddled op. ‘I’m scared.’ ‘You don’t have to, babe.’ And he kissed me ‘It was just a normal robbery. Just close your eyes and try to go back asleep again.’ He said. ‘No, I think it was.’ I said. ‘W-What do you mean?’ Riker asked. ‘Well…’ I started ‘promise you do not tell this to someone else.’ ‘Sure, I promise!’ he said. ‘Okay, here it goes…
