Ch.2/// "Dad?"

(A/N Rin and Yukio in this chapter ignore them if you don't know who they are so I recommend watching Blue Exorcist just sayin <3)

The written exam! YES!! I studied a lot for this! There is no way I could fail this.

I was on my way home and I saw my brother Yukio.

"Hey! How do you think you did?"

"AWESOME!! The written part was easy and ooo! Fighting villains and bots!!! I had so much fun Yuki!"

"That's amazing Y/n I bet dad will be proud of you." Yukio said, placing his hand on the door knob to open it. Once he opened the door he stopped. It was so... sudden it struck me as odd.

"Yuki? What's wrong?"

He pushed me outside and he locked me out. H-he HE LOCKED ME OUT!! I heard screaming and crying from my two brothers. I began to feel the fire of fury grow, flames escaping from my skin. I burst open the door to see Rin with sharp teeth, pointy ears, a tail and a sword in his hands. He was covered in blood as well as Yuki. I look down to the floor to see... the only man I truly considered a father... dead.

"Dad?"

"No no no no it's gonna be alright ok?" Yukio said reassuringly

"NO IT'S NOT I KILLED HIM!"

"RIN!" Yukio yelled back.

I couldn't heal him, he was dead. I couldn't run, I had to be there for my brothers. Because of me Yukio and I know what happened to Rin, he unlocked his inner demon. Someday it will happen to Yukio but we hope it isn't soon.

~Another Time Skip about 3 days (A/N they have dorms early)~

I found out we are getting dorms today, and that since I was one of the last people to enter the school and my power is harmful, I am paired with a boy... great. (A/n I dont know just go along with it) Kirishima? Where have I heard that name? Ahhh I remember.... Like I said Hell holds the truth of the future, he's... like a brotherly figure kind of. I guess this is where we meet Kirishima. I walk up to the door of the dorm and open it... empty. But there is stuff on one of the beds, guess I will take the other.

"WoAh Kirishima, there is a GiRL iN yoUr rOom!!"

"H-hi." I muttered

"HeY I am Kaminari but you can call me DeNki!"

"Uh- Hello Denki, I'm Y/n Okumura." I said kinda quietly.

"DENKI GET OUT OF MY ROOM I WILL CATCH UP WITH YOU BOYS LATER!!" I presume Kirisima said, there are more of them... fun.

"OKAY!!! I will talk with you later Y/N see ya!"

I gave a quiet wave and closed the door. This was one of those moments I'd miss my father. The moments I was by myself, not distracted. I sat on the bed and curled into a ball and started to cry. I know Rin didn't kill dad, that was just dad protecting him it just... costed his life. I sometimes wish I could still talk with him. I started sobbing as I heard the door quietly click open, I didn't look up. Silence filled the room, a silence you could cut with a knife. I heard shuffling then another weight was added to the bed as I was embraced into a hug.

"Hey you must be Y/n, there is no reason to cry."

I didn't get it in this world he just met me, why is he so caring already?

"I'm Kirishima, can you tell me what's wrong?"

I couldn't speak.

"You can tell me. My friends are gone, it's late and there is no training until Monday so what's wrong?"

"M-my d-dad died three d-days ago..." I finally choked up the words

"Oh my god I'm so sorry!!"

I felt safe, I was tired, I wanted to sleep but this still didn't make sense, he JUST met me?

"I-If this is awkward you don't have to hug me." I stated still curled up in a ball.

"No it's alright I'm fine." He said.

I decided to read him, but only for how he is feeling right now. If I keep reading people, I may not be trusted. ...He felt sympathy, he felt as if he knew me...I stopped and accepted the fact that he was doing this out of the kindness of his heart. I thought Kirishima fell asleep so I did too in a heaping puddle of my own tears.
