Bakugo jolted awake, sweat beating down his head, pooling on the collar of his t-shirt. He looked over his shoulder to the alarm clock on his side table that read 3:30am. This was the fourth time this week he had been woken up by the tenants living above him. On this particular night, it had sounded like someone had fallen or at the very least dropped something heavy. To say Bakugo was pissed would be an understatement, the pro-hero was fuming. He threw his legs over the edge of his bed and made his way to his front door. He wanted to pay his neighbors a little visit. However, a gleam from his balcony caught his eye before he could leave the apartment.
Glass. His entire balcony was covered in a thin layer of broken glass. Even though he had just opened the sliding glass door he still did a 180 to make sure it wasn't from his place. His doors were completely intact. He picked up the larger chunks, trying to lessen the mess he would have to deal with the next day, and placed them on a table that was sitting outside. One of the shards was glistening in the moonlight, fully showing off the blood coating half of it. Looking around the sea of glass, Bakugo quickly realized that his balcony looked like a scene from a horror movie. Glass and blood everywhere.
"What the hell?" Bakugo looked around to the other apartments around him, and there he saw it. The apartment right above his had a broken door. However, the lights were off and there was no sign of anyone being there, or at least, awake. In an angry rush, Bakugo crushed the piece of glass, causing his palm to bleed and made his way to the apartment directly above his. Anyone who saw him would've ran for cover. He even bumped directly into someone while walking down the hall.
"Watch it dumbass!" He snarled at the girl and glared down at her.
"I'm-I'm so sorry!" The girl bowed her head and fidgeted with the sleeves of her sweater before scurrying off. Bakugo rolled his eyes and returned to angrily storming down the hall. He banged on the door of apartment 504, full fist in play. There was no answer. So again, he beat on the door. Nothing.
The next time Bakugo was woken up, his clock read 8:17am. This time it was a knock on his door. Bakugo combed through his bed head while he made his way out of his room. On the other side of the door stood the girl he had slammed into the previous night, she was wearing the same outfit as the last time he saw her, but he didn't think too much into it. "Can I help ya?"
"Hi, I'm (y/n), I live in 504 right above you." She had her arms crossed, one laying across her body normally and the other crossing her chest allowing her hand to rest on her shoulder. In the hand on her shoulder was an envelope. (Y/n) looked to her side, which brought Bakugo's attention to another person standing in the hallway. This person was a male, he wore the most uninterested gaze. Noticing (y/n) had stopped talking, the male snapped his fingers at her, making her jump a little.
"I uh- I broke our door last night, and since you live right below us, I figured I may have caused you some trouble." As she spoke, she was facing who Bakugo assumed was her boyfriend, but kept her head down like she was unworthy of being on the same level as him. "Anyway, this is for any inconvenience I caused you. I'm really sorry."
She placed the envelope in Bakugo's hand and hung her head. Bakugo went to say something but was stopped by the male grabbing (y/n) and dragging her off. As he returned to his apartment, he heard the girl whisper something, but it was to quiet to hear what she said exactly. He did however hear the man tell her to shup up.
