                                                        Chapter Seven

We were almost back to the cabin, when I remembered that I still had to deal with the body in the back of the truck.

“Stacey, why don’t you go in and play with the ranger while I take care of this.”

“Alright take your time Steven, no rush I can keep busy with her for hours.”

I smiled as I turned and walk to the back of the truck and got the shovel then proceeded to the large, empty area to the right of the cabin and started digging, all the while playing out the events I had planned for tomorrow. I couldn’t wait, all of this began as a plan to get retribution against my parents and the kids at school for the horrible things done to me all of these years but along the way it has twisted and grew so more complex than just that. I mean the kids at school had not just become the evil little pricks they were overnight, their parents had molded them into the little bastards they are today, so their parents were equally to blame society today has made every power hungry competitive assholes that are willing to do anything and step on anyone to get what they want and where they want to achieve popularity and dominance. The more I thought about this, the angrier it made me. I dug harder and faster thinking about with what people have become today, no one in this town is innocent or should be exempt from what I have planned, they all deserve what’s coming then I thought about scripter I had read and heard about from the bible about the end coming and how it wouldn’t be until god saw no hope left for human kind when he felt that it was not worth saving, he would wipe it out and it was then I realized people say that god has a plan for everyone; could my torment and torture all my suffering all these years be his plan for me? Was he trying to show me how the time has come, the time I have read and heard about the end coming, could he have meant for me to be a tool in cleaning up the evil filth that has become mankind today? All of this rushed through my head so quickly I could hardly process it all, I don’t even know if I truly believe in god or what it is written that he represents.

Then again, if you believe in god you have no choice but to believe in his counterpart the devil and there are people out there that would think what I have done, thus far is sick and evil no doubt, ably the work of the devil could that be has everything that has happened to me? Warped my mind to the point of completely breaking, have I become nothing more than the same people I am seeking to punish and destroy for the wicked I hold them responsible for? I don’t know what I believe and I don’t really feel as if I even care. All I really can say for sure that I know and believe is everyone knows right from wrong, they set out to mentally and physically do harm to others for their own personal gain in one way or another with seemingly no repercussions. Well that’s going to change, I am going to hold everyone responsible for their actions and until the day I die nothing and no one will stop me. A couple hours had passed and I had finally finished the hole, I walked back to the truck and backed it up to the hole got out and climbed into the back pushing the man into the hole.

“Good riddance, smelly ass oversized piece of shit!!”

I covered him with a few inches of dirt then stepped back taking in the fact that I was covered in dirt, smelled foul and was dead tired; barely able to lift my arms. I tossed the shovel aside and made my way to the cabin. When I entered, even I was taken aback by the sight in front of me, the ranger was still strung up but you could no longer recognize her in the slightest. I had been so preoccupied with my thoughts and my digging, I never heard what I was sure would have been tremendous screaming coming from in here; Stacey had been boiling water on the fire place then slowly pouring it over the rangers body slowly and relentlessly the entire time. I was out there leaving what was surely no less than third degree burns consuming the rangers entire body as well as her face had been beaten in, I was sure she was dead but you could still hear a faint groan coming from her body as she hung there motionless. I looked over at Stacey, sitting at the table studying my expression with the most wicked smile I had ever seen, it could not be argued, I truly had created a monster. I couldn’t be any prouder at that point, frozen in shock of what she had accomplished I stood there speechless.
