Chapter 34: Getting Settled

we were two hours into the flight and Carmella started to get fussy cause she had just woken up, so I grab a bottle from my purse and toy and started rocking her. Mattia was asleep and so was everyone else except for Robert 

Robert: want we to take her?

Francesca: no its ok I got it

Robert: ok tell me if you need anything

Francesca: ok thanks

I calmed her down and grabbed a diaper then got up to go to the bathroom and change her since I hadn't changed her since we woke up and left earlier. but she started crying again idk why, ohhh i think shes teething that's why 

Francesca: do your teeth hurt bambina?

after i changed her we went back to the seats and sat down, first class had wifi so i looked up what makes the pain not as bad and it said a teething toy or something squishy idk. a flight attendant came over with food and drinks and i asked her if she had any icecream for Carmella 

flight attendant: yeah which flavor?

Francesca: just villna please 

flight attendant: ok ill go get it!

she came back with the icecream and i gave it to Carmella, it seemed to be helping, slowly but doing something 

Robert: well that halped

Francesca: yeah kinda 

then she waved her hands to Robert so i assumed she wanted to go with him so i bring her to him and put her on his lap with the icecream

Robert: can Zio Robert have some 

he said looking down at her and she put some on his face 😂

Francesca: i think she understands you sometimes

Robert: maybe, shes really smart so

Francesca: she gets it from me

 Robert: yeah Mattia's a little, yk what i mean

Francesca: thats mean

Robert: true doe

Francesca: noo hes smart, when he wants to be

Robert: yeah thats what i meant 

Francesca: suree

Robert: be quiet

then he tured to Carmella

Robert: your moms bullying me again Carmella 

Francesca: am not!

Robert: yes you are

Francesca: cap

Mattia: can you two please be quiet

Francesca: aw look sleeping beautys awake Carmella

Mattia: shh

i got up and went to Carmella and stood her up on the floor and walked her over to him and whispered in her ear "put icecream on daddys face" she suprisling did what i said and put it on nose and forehead 

Mattia: ay che fai?  (what are you doing?)

she started laughing and hugged me

Francesca: uhh why'd you do that

i acted suprised 

Mattia: really?
