Spoiler warning for end of Karasuno and Inarizaki match!

First Person POV.

My arms dropped to my side as the ball landed on Inarizaki's side of the court. Half of the stadium goes quite and the other half goes into loud cheers.

I watch the Miya twins, my childhood best friends, closely. Along with the rest of the team, they look disappointed.

I myself feel disappointed at the loss, but it's nothing compared to how the team feels. I watched them work so hard for this and now a fallen school that should not matter beat them.

Taking it upon myself to cheer up my two friend, I head to the outside of the boys changing room, waiting for them to walk out.

After some time the team starts to leave the room. As they past me they don't say anything, their heads down, and I can see a few tears in their eyes.

Kita exits the changing room and is holding this head up high trying hard not to cry.

When Osamu and Atsumu walk out, they are the last, they both see me.

Osamu turns to Atsumu, says something, then follows the rest of the team, leaving Atsumu and me alone. I had always been closer to Atsumu then Osamu, so this was only a little bit of a surprise.

"Hey, Atsumu", I say as he walks up to where I'm standing

"Hey, (Y/N)", Atsumu has changed out of his volleyball uniform, along with all the other boys, but he is still wearing the team's red jacket.

Looking up at him, I see that his eyes are getting watery. Taking a leap of faith I open up my arms, inviting a hug.

He quickly rushes into my arms, my head buried in his chest and his head buried in my shoulder. He then breaks down. I start to run my fingers through his hair and whisper some encouraging words in his ear.

"I..hic...We...we worked so..hic...hard for this."

Whispering I say, "I know, and you did so well."

"But it wasn't enough!" Atsumu raises his voice. I jump a little, stoping my hand in his hair, and he hugs me tighter, "I'm..hic...sorry, I didn't mean..hic...to scare you."

Shaking my head and I continuing to run my fingers through his hair again, I say, "Never feel sorry for expressing your feelings to me."

He leans back so that he can see my face. I take my hand away from his hair and wipe away a tear. I give a small smile and we just keep eye contact, "No matter what it is, can I express my feelings to you?" Atsumu asks.

"Of course."

He leans in and connects our lips, I immediately kiss back. The kiss lasts for a few seconds before he pulls away.

"I-" Atsumu starts but I cut him off.

"You don't need to say anything, I understand," I say and give a bigger smile to Atsumu.

He pulls me in for another kiss. This one is longer and my hands go behind his head as he holds my cheeks.

We stop kissing and make eye connect again.

"You have no idea how long I have wanted to do that," Atsumu says placing my head on his chest and putting his head in my should, so we are in the position we were in before.

He hugs me tighter, like I'm going to run away and says, "I have always loved you, but never knew when to confess."

I smile at his words and say, "Me too."

We hug each other tighter as he gives my neck a little kiss, "Atsumu!" I let out a giggle and press my head harder into his chest.
