{H. Shōyō} Sunrise

Hinata Shōyō x reader: Sunrise

First Person POV.

I walk over to the clubroom expecting to be the first one there, but when I arrive Hinata is there.

I look at him dozing off in front of the door on the top steps. I smile and walk over to him, "Hinata, wake up," I give him a light kick to the side, "Hinata!"

He quickly wakes up and looks at me, "Oh, (Y/N)-san, what are you doing here so early?"

"Aren't I supposed to ask you that?" I say as he stands up, "And I'm here to do extra practice(boy)/do manger stuff(girl{nonbinary get to choose!})."

"Then do you have the keys?" I pull out the keys and Hinata smiles at me.

"Of course, I'm not stupid like you," I say and unlock the door. Hinata's smile drops and I ruffle his hair, "Go get changed. I'll help you practice."

Hinata immediately perks up and runs into the room to get changed. I enter after him and close the door.

I set the ball to Hinata and watch as he fails to spike it to the water bottle on the other side of the court.

He falls down and yells, "I'm never going to get this!" then groans after.

I walk up to him and pat him on the back, "Don't worry, I believe you will get it one day."

He looks at me for a second then smiles again, "Yeah, lets go again!"

He grabs a volleyball but before he hits it to me I say, "The suns about to rise over the mountains." Hinata looks at me with confusion on his face, "Lets go watch the sunrise!"

He drops the ball and runs up to me, "Thats such a good idea! Lets go!" Hinata grabs my hand and runs out of the gym pulling me along.

I smile and laugh at how enthusiastic he is.

We quickly exit the gym and find a good place behind the school to watch the sunrise. We wait for a few minutes and Hinata rambles on about a bunch of different things. I just watch him and smile, 'I really do like him, huh?'

I'm to focused watching Hinata that he has to shake me to get me out of my trace. We stare in each other's eyes and he turns away from me after a second with a blush on his face.

"The sunrise as started," Hinata says and I look to my left to see the sun peaking over the mountains.

We sit in silence until Hinata breaks it, "One day, I want to be like the sun to someone. I want to bring them warmth and growth."

I look at Hinata stunned at what he said as it is so out of character, "Well", Hinata looks at me, "you are already my sun."

Hinata continues to stare and then jumps on to me, forcing a hug, "I knew it, I knew it!"

"What did you know, Hinata?" I ask wrapping my arms around him.

"That you like me!" He shouts and I look away blushing.

"You don't have to tell the whole world", I whisper, the blush on my face growing.

"But I want to," I look at Hinata and turn away immediately.

"Just be quiet and watch the sunrise."
