Tsukishima Kei x reader: Just A Simple Walk

First Person POV.

I sit on the bench as I watch the other first years doing extra practice.

I fight back my sleepiness and watch Hinata run up to spike the ball Kageyama set, while Yamaguchi blocks. I then notice Tsukishima sit beside me.

"I thought you left," I say as I look up at him.

"Not yet," he watches the three boys in front of us continue their extra practice, "When are you going home?"

"After they have finished," I say and look at my phone, "Which I should probably end now." I stand up, walk over to the three, and yell, "It's time for us all to go home!"

Hinata falls face first and the volleyball ball hits Kageyama on the head. I hear Tsukishima laugh behind me and I also smile.

"Can we please continue playing, (L/N), please," Hinata ask and I shake my head.

"It's already past 7 o'clock, you need to get home", I say and walk over the other side of the court, past Yamaguchi, to pick up volleyballs, "Now, you all have to help me clean up."

I hear many groans behind me and laugh but continue on cleaning.

I lock the gym door and turn around. Hinata, Kageyama, and Yamaguchi have already left but Tsukishima is still here.

"Why are you still here?" I ask and walk up beside him.

He looks down at me, "It's dangerous at night."

"Awww, are you saying you care about me? Thats so sweet," I tease Tsukishima and he turns his head away blushing.

We then start to walk home and I watch the moon and stars. In truth I'm glad Tsukishima is walking me home, I have liked him for a while. I feel I blush rise to my face at the though of confessing tonight.

"Tsukishima, do you know what you want to do after school yet?" I ask, trying to get my mind off of confessing, and look at him.

He looks down at me, "Why are you asking that?"

"No reason," I say and he shakes his head and watches the road ahead of us.

We soon arrive at my house and we stand at the front gate, "Thank you for walking me home." He just nods his head, "You are such a tsundere."

He looks at me with an angry expression and I laugh at him. He rubs my head and I push his hand off me.

"And you are such a chibi," He says and I hit him on the arm as he laughs at me. He grabs my arms and we look into each other's eyes.

I suddenly notice how close we are and I can see that he also notices, but instead of pulling away we stay in that position.

"I have never noticed, but you have very beautiful (E/C) eyes," Tsukishima says and I blush. I try to pull away but he holds onto my hands.

"Tsuki-"

"I like you," I look up at him in shock, "I have liked you for awhile."

I look at him my month open and he lets go of me, a sad look on his face. I then come back to earth when I can't feel his warmth anymore.

I look up to see that he has walked a little bit away from me. I walk towards him and wrap my arms around him, "I like you, too."

He also wraps his arms around me and I smile into his chest, "Lets go out," he says. I nod into his chest and smile.

"Thank you," I say.

"For what?"

"Having the balls to ask me out", we both laugh at what I said and he pulls away from me.

"Good night, (Y/N)," he says and gives me a kiss on my forehead.

I blush at him saying my first name, "Good night, Kei."

I open the gate and walk up to my front door before I open it I look behind me to see that Kei is still there. I smile and wave at him before I walk inside the house.
