Chapter 8 | Proper Introduction

You slowly open your eyes to the sunlight peeking in through the window that was in front of your laying body, as the blankets were thrashed around your legs, as both your feet were sticking out. Your eyes still heavy and squinting from the slumber you just woke from. You slowly pushed yourself up with both your arms as you turned your head towards the digital clock, '6:03am' you read as your eyes were still squinting. You had set your alarm for 6:30am the night before but as you thought about, you were glad you naturally woke up before it went off as it gave you more time to get ready. You started to get excited even though you were groggy, remembering that you have a whole new outfit to wear, with makeup too! These were one of the times where you didn't mind getting up and ready bright and early. You slowly made your way out of bed, hearing the bird chirps making your think to yourself that you've never seen any birds in game before. You walked over to the bathroom scratching your right side when your eyes started to adjust to look normal again. Just like any other morning routine you used the toilet first, brush your teeth, then turned on the shower water, all with the bathroom door open since it was just you by yourself.

You turned it onto the hotter side like you usually would, but you let it steam up knowing it won't instantly become warm. As you waited patiently for the water to heat, you walked back into your room at a fast pace knowing that you still had to quickly be done before you get picked up. Reaching next to your bed you grabbed the shopping bag that held your new clothes, walking back into the bathroom, this time closing the door. Placing the bag by the sink, you reached into the cabinet above the toilet grabbing a white towel that was provided before you moved in. You put the toilet lid down when you then placed the towel on top of it, ready to be used once you got out of the hot water. You stripped from the only undergarments you had slept in letting it drop onto the floor before stepping into the shower tub as you pulled the white shower curtain for privacy.

After enjoying the quick hot shower using the new shampoo, conditioner, shaving supplies, etc. from the shopping spree yesterday, you stepped out letting the water drip down your body. The steam floating in the bathroom. You grabbed the towel from the toilet seat wrapping your body in to quickly as possible. You reached for the door knob, opening the door to check the time, making your quickly realize something you hadn't thought about since you got here. You couldn't see that far from the bathroom door to the clock sitting by your bed. You had completely forgotten that you needed glasses.

You didn't know if it was possible that you'd need glasses, you're in a game for fucks sake, you didn't think about. Then again, you should've realized this sooner, but anytime you didn't see something far away, you just assumed it was the game not loading in yet, if that made any sense. You felt stupid that didn't think about it let alone acknowledge it. 'Fucking dumbass' you thought to yourself as you walked out of the bathroom, water still dripping down your legs to your feet, making everywhere you stepped have a small puddle, but you didn't care. As you got closer to the clock it read '6:22', still had time to get your makeup done and hair dried. You walked back to the steamy bathroom, closing the door behind you. Unwrapping your nude body from the towel you patted off the wet parts of your body then making your way up to your hair. You bent over letting your hair flip before viciously the white towel into your hair, drying it as fast  as possible. You kept doing this until the wet strands of hair got thinner and thinner.

Fast forward; You had just finalized doing your makeup, without looking at your new outfit in the mirror, you wanted your final look to be a surprise. Doing two more strokes of mascara you slid the spoolie back into the tube twisting it close. Your final touch was to grab the eyebrow brush, using the spoolie on the other end to blend in your eyebrow makeup in the front. You set down the makeup brush backing up to get the final look. Satisfied, you smiled as you finally felt like yourself again, like you back home. You felt confident and pretty. Before you could be full of yourself, you stopped looking in mirror knowing that if you didn't for any longer, you'd become conceited and just stare at your beauty and make random poses. By now your hair has fully dried. From the way you dry your hair, it naturally dries the way you wanted it to, no need to brush our any tangles as you didn't have any, you were blessed to have that type of hair type.
