Chapter 11 | Groupies

"Hey who took my last granola bar?!" Tina yelled coming out of the kitchen door. You and the other agents were hanging out in the lounge room as usual when you guys aren't working. You sat along a couch by yourself crossing both your legs and arms, staring at the ground thinking about the moment you and Meowcles were up in Midas' office 20 minutes ago. And that Demi girl. You could picture her smug look that she gave you as if you were nothing but a peasant.

"Not me." Meowcles and Skye said at the same time. Brutus looked over at Peely who was avoiding eye contact with Tina making it obvious that he's guilty as charged. 

"Peelyy! Again??" She scolded the banana putting her hands on her hips.

"Sorry, I got hungry in the middle of the night last night!" He confessed now looking at the girl in the Ka-Boom crop top. Tina rolled her eyes and muttered a 'Whatever' before turning back into the kitchen where you assume she'd look for something else to snack on. Your stomach grumbled at the thought of food, making it obvious that you were hungry and needed something in your system. You finally took your eyes off the ground in front of you and stood up as Skye looked up at you curious as to what your next move was going to be.

"Hey is it okay if I get something to eat from the kitchen?" You asked Skye.

"Yeah of course! You're welcome to take whatever you want." She answered in a sweet tone. You quietly gasped and smiled giving her a quick 'Thank you' before you followed towards the door that Tina went through. 

You opened the door revealing Tina on her tippy toes trying to reach for a mug in the back of the cabinet. Unable to get your mind off Midas and Demi, you decided to talk to Tina about it, woman to woman.

"Hey Tina," You started

"Oh hey, what's up?"

"I just came in here to get something to eat, but like, I wanted to ask you something real quick." You continued as you walked over to the fridge right next to Tina. She finally got the mug out of the cabinet then finally turning her attention fully on you as she rested her back on the counter.

She was curious as to what you wanted to talk about, she wondered if it could be something serious and if it was, why would you want to talk about it to her, someone you just recently met. Though, she was flattered that someone shy like you felt safe having a private conversation with you.

"Meowcles and I went up to Midas' office and there a girl there.. She wore a red dress, had a red robotic arm-"

"Demi." Tina cut you off

"Uh- Yeah, how'd you know?"

"Theres no other girl that would be up in his office as much as her, and you mentioned that she was wearing a red dress which kinda gave it away." Tina simply answered.

"Yeah, who is she? Is she an agent like you guys?" You asked. Why else would she be up in his office and sitting on his desk. Tina sighed looking away from you looking slightly annoyed at the thought of Demi. It kind of made you happy as you weren't the only one that wasn't so fond of her. It was evil to have that type of mindset towards someone but, come on, the girl was an asshole.

"She's one of Midas' groupies, his main one basically." Tina said widening her eyes acting surprised. You only knew what a groupie was from being a fangirl of famous bands like 5 Seconds of Summer or One Direction so hearing that's who she was, made you slightly jealous.
