(Kirishima pov)

After dinner, we headed to our rooms to get some sleep. Apparently the Bakugou family went to bed super early. With light still slightly peeking through the window, it made it hard to get to sleep. I decided to start unpacking in the morning. The boxes sat in the corner of the empty room, waiting to be opened. I kind of missed Bakugou. I knew he was in the next room over but, it was lonely. I got up and rummaged quietly through the box holding my clothes, taking out a certain black hoodie. I hugged it close to my chest, heaving a sigh. I laid back down with the hoodie, still holding it close to my chest. I tried closing my eyes, hoping to drift off to no avail. I twisted and turned, not finding a comfortable position. I sighed in defeat, picking up my phone. I scrolled through my contacts and clicked on Bakugou's. I texted him and set my phone back down.

Hair-for-brains: Goodnight! See you in the morning.

Blasty: Gn idiot.

I picked it back up, smiling as I read the message. I decided to let him sleep. I watched videos to try and get me tired, it wasn't working well. I decided to give up and just force myself to sleep. I closed my eyes and sat there like that until eventually, the boredom sent me into a restless sleep.

(Time skip - Next morning)

I woke up early to the sound of Bakugou and his mom fighting downstairs. I groaned, sitting up and holding my head in my hands. I got up and stretched my sore muscles. Rummaging through the boxes, I grabbed a pair of clothes. I slipped on my pants and shirt, grabbing the hoodie off the bed and slipping it on. I spiked my hair and grabbed my phone, making my way downstairs. Bakugou was in the kitchen with his mom making breakfast. I smiled and  walked into the kitchen to see them making pancakes. The batter sat on the counter, waiting to be baked. I took a bit on my finger without them noticing. I walked behind Bakugou and smeared the batter on his cheek. His face scrunched up and he almost jumped out of his skin. "DAMN IT SHIT HAIR!" He yelled, chasing me around the house. He caught me and picked me up by the waist, taking me back into the kitchen, holding me while he grabbed a bunch of batter in his hand. I scrambled to get out of his grasp, a fit of laughter falling over us all. His mom recorded the entire thing. He wiped the batter all over my face. I laughed and Bakugou finally let me go. "You've done it now Blasty!" I taunted as I grabbed more batter, throwing it his way. It splattered all over his shirt. "OH YOU'RE SO DEAD!" He gave a devilish grin as he took the bowl and walked towards me with it, I backed up. "NO DUDE! HAVE MERCY! I JUST DID MY HAIR!!!" I begged. He gave a grimacing chuckle and kept walking towards me. I backed into a wall. Before he could dump it, his mom came in, grabbing the bowl from him before he could react. I chuckled. "I want a picture!" She said. "And I want a fuckin flying pig but life isn't fair." Bakugou sneered. I grabbed him by the waist and pulled his back to my chest and smiled. His mom took her phone and snapped a photo before he could object. "Alright you two. Go clean up so we can eat!" She chuckled. I smiled and walked upstairs. Bakugou cursing under his breath in front of me. We both walked into our rooms and started to clean up before my phone buzzed. I grabbed it out of my pocket, not prepared for the name that showed up on the screen. "M-ma." I mumbled. The phone kept buzzing and buzzing in my hand before I dropped it. I couldn't answer it. I can't hear her voice right now. I shakily finished getting changed and calmed myself down before walking out, leaving my phone in the room. I put on a smile as I saw Bakugou walking out as well. I didn't want to worry him. As I walked downstairs, the moment was eating at me. 'What would have happened if I answered. What would she say? What did she want?!' I thought. I knocked out of my trance to see Bakugou shaking me. I shook my head. "SHITTY HAIR!" He yelled. "Oh. Sorry. I spaced." I said as I walked past him and sat down to the table. He looked concerned, but made his way to the seat next to mine. His mom laid plates of food in front of us all. The thoughts repeated in my head as I ate. We ate in awkward silence. Bakugou sent me worried glances every now and then as he watched my emotionless expression. I ate about half of my plate before I felt sick to my stomach from thinking so much. I excused myself and thanked her for the meal before heading up to the bathroom and leaning over the sink. I felt my head spinning. I went into my room and grabbed my old pants, grabbing the card out of them. I picked up my phone up, unlocking it, and dialing the number. I hesitated before hitting the call button. "Hello?" a woman said. "Hi, I need to speak to Akiara Takashi!" I said shakily. "That's me!" She said. "Hey. Its Kirishima. Are you busy?" I asked her. "No. Is everything okay?" She asked concerned. "She tried calling me. I don't know what to do and it's eating at me. I'm staying with my boyfriend for the time being so I don't have much time to talk. I don't want him to worry." I said holding my head in my hand. "Don't talk to her. You need time to heal. Just focus on your boyfriend. Whatever your mom has to say can wait until you finish healing from the pain she caused." She said. "Okay...That makes sense. Thank you!" I said. "No problem! I'll let you get back to mr.grumpy!" She chuckled. "Okay! Bye!" I said as I hung up. I went to my contacts and muted my moms calls. I heaved a sigh before sitting on the side of my bed, rubbing my head. The stress of this is taking it's toll on me. I heard a knock at my door and looked up to see Mitsuki. She made her way in. "Hey kiddo." She said smiling and sitting on the bed beside me. "Hey. Sorry I kinda bolted. I felt a little sick." I said. "You okay? I know living in a new place is hard." She said placing a hand on my back. I let out a small, airy chuckle. "Yeah. I love living here don't get me wrong! It's a great place and It gives me more time with Bakugou, its just...I'm a little home sick to a place I cant even call home anymore." I sighed. "Yeah. We're going to do whatever we can to help make this process easier. We are here to help you. Bakugou want's the best for you right now. I know it hurts him seeing you this way. You're the only person he has cared about this much since he was a kid." She said. "I know...I just feel like...If the woman who gave me life managed to abandon me, how hard could it be for someone else?" I asked, tearing up a bit. "Nobody here, will ever, hurt you. This entire family loves you to death after just a week! I don't know what happened with you and your mom, but whatever it is, we're here to help you through it." She said smiling. I nodded, letting a tear fall down my cheek. She reached up and wiped it. "Whaddaya say we go play a bored game? Get your mind off things." She said standing up. I smiled at her before getting up and following her out. We walked downstairs and saw Bakugou doing the dishes and his dad was on the couch, scrolling through his phone. Bakugou looked over at me and nudged his head to the side, signaling me to follow him. "Hey. I'll be right back."I said, following him. "Alright! We'll set up the bored game!" She said as she pulled out the coffee table. I walked into another room with him and before I could react, he grabbed my by the waist, pulling me into him. My chest flush against his. He put his forehead on mine and looked into my eyes. "Kirishima." He said. I looked to the side. "Oi." He said. "look at me." He said gently. I slowly averted my gaze to him. "I know you are hurting right now. I can see it in your eyes. You can't hide your feelings from me. Every time you hurt, this hurts." He said, running his hand over my mark. I flinched at the sudden touch. After I relaxed, I ran my hand over where his was. "I'm sorry. I didn't know." I said apologetically. "I want you to come to me when your hurting. You don't have to tell me anything. I just want to be there for you in any way I can." He said as he hugged my waist tighter. "I promise." I said closing my eyes and melting into the moment. He reached up and cupped my cheek. I leaned my head into his hand, slightly nuzzling. "Cute bastard." He stated as he rubbed my cheek with his thumb. I hummed, nearly falling asleep to his gentle touch. The sound of his raspy voice, making me weak in the knees. He placed a small kiss on my lips before letting go of my waist and grabbing my hand, intertwining our fingers.
