Chapter 5 : Maybe i do love her

Adrien POV
I couldn't sleep all I could think about was Marinette. Was I falling for the cute baker's daughter? Plagg sensed that I was have trouble sleeping and went to talk to me.

"Hey what's wrong Adrien, are you thinking about that girl?" He asked me.

"Plagg I feel like maybe I do like Marinette as more than just a friend, but I still love Ladybug is it bad for me to like two people"? I asked him.

Plagg told me that I would figure it out sometime. These thoughts bugged me all night so I didn't sleep that well. I was thinking about how Ladybug didn't love me and that maybe I should move on but I couldn't move away from Ladybug so easy and I can't love two people right? I would have to meet up with Marinette tomorrow I hope I don't act like a mess. She's still just a friend right. NO SHES NOT JUST A FRIEND!! I've realised. Maybe I do love her.

Marinette POV
Ever since Adrien fell on me he's been acting really strange in class. For example when I said good morning to him and he shouted

" GOOD MORNING MARINETTE I HOPE DAY YOUR SWELL"!

Which was a very strange thing for him to say and sounded like something I would say. He's also been really flustered recently like when he dropped one of his books and I picked it up and a handed it to him he started blushing intensely and rushed hurriedly away. Maybe I should go talk to him.
I walked over to Adrien who was sitting alone in a corner and he looked like he was talking to himself. So I asked him anything was wrong and his face glowed red and he spat out

"NUP EVERYTHING is fine"!

But I could tell something was wrong so I said

"I know something is wrong Adrien you've been acting really strange recently".

Adrien's face glowed an even brighter red and he took a deep breath and said

"Marinette there is something I need to tell you I ~ can you meet me at my house at 4pm?"

I agreed to meet him after school and I ran to class as the bell rung.

Adrien POV:
Marinette is coming over in an hour! What am I going to say? Should I confess or just continue on the project? Both? Ahhhhh. Maybe I should do the project with her and the tell her before she leaves? Yes! That is the best option. I realise that Marinette comes in 5 minutes. I jump off my bed and brush hair for the seventh time and bolt downstairs where I waited on a small arm chair. The doorbell rang and I ran to the door. My bodyguard open the door and there she was a cute dark haired blue eyed girl with red ribbons in her hair . Marinette was wearing a cute pink a line dress with a pair of black ballet flats.

"Hi Adrien"! She greeted me.

She looked so beautiful it made me blush.

"Ah what's this for"? I stammered.

"Oh you know how we are making an a line dress, I brought one from home that I made for reference." Marinette answered.

So that's why she was wearing it. It would definitely make it harder for me to work with Marinette looking this cute. I had decided that today is the day I was going to confess and that I had given up on ladybug since there's that boy, he can have her.

"Let's get started"! I said as I lead Marinette up to my room where I had the sewing equipment.

Since my father is a fashion designer he has a lot of these things around. We sit down at my desk and start cutting out the fabric. We use all the measurements to cut out the fabric of black and green. We started putting the fabric on the manikins and the dress was coming together well. We finally finished the bottom layer and the time was 5:30.

"I should probably get going soon and we can finish this next time I come over". Marinette stated.

This was my chance, my chance  to tell Marinette how I feel!
