Not Just a Friend

Chapter 8 : The Reveal.....

LADYBUG POV :
"Good evening M'lady"!
It was Chat.
Was it finally time to reveal I was so nervous.
My head felt like it was going to explode.
I felt weird, my gut feeling was telling me this wasn't right.

"Chat, I'm not sure if it's the right time I-

"It's fine Ladybug I understand,"
Chat interrupted me.

"Really"?

He nodded his head.
I never expected him to be this excepting.

"Take your time Ladybug, I understand"!

He smile made me blush a bit, he sort of reminded me of someone I couldn't tell who.

We were standing there for a minute and
Then it hit me-
What if-

CHAT NOIR IS ADRIEN!

Now I was curious.
I started to all add up, the fact that he always acted weird when Adrien was mentioned and how they have the same hair and eye colour, Same skin tone and I've realised as I've got closer to Adrien him and Chat are fairly similar.

Could they really be the same person.
If they are does that mean, Chat was in love with Ladybug so does that mean-

"Ladybug, are you alright"?

"Yeah I'm fine"!

"Actually, Chat maybe we should reveal, maybe next week at the same spot"?

"Are you sure M'Lady?"

I told Chat that I was sure and we left. In the mean time I'm going to try and see if my theory is really right.
——————————The next morning—————
Marinette POV:
It was a sunny Saturday and I asked Adrien if he was able to meet up with me at the nearby park where we hid this one time when his fans were chasing him. Adrien managed to sneak out by telling his dad that he was doing our school project. We met at the fountain and instead of wearing my usual outfit I decided to wear a spotty red dress I had created last summer, instead of wearing my usual pigtails I decided to wear my hair out.

"Hey Marinette"! Adrien greeted.

Adrien looked at me in awe for a bit

"I forgot how pretty your hair is out". Adrien exclaimed.

I could feel my face heating up.

Adrien and chatted about various topics and exchanged quite a few compliments. I was so lucky Adrien and I were finally together I had been waiting so long we stayed together for a while until the sun started to set and we decided to part.  I watched as Adrien left. He was truly amazing and I still can't believe that we are dating. I sat there and thought about the week left to come. Chat and I will finally reveal.
