Aritianna was twisting through the secret passages with the twins, laughing at their crazy stories, they popped out of the passage, rounded the corner straight into Snape.

"Hey Uncle Sev, guess what. I made friends, real friends, and I think enemies, cause three people were shooting me evil glares. I love hogwarts, this is so cool." She gushed as she hugged him, the twins were shocked when Snape hugged her back and smiled down at her.

"I'm proud of you Anna, your mother would be proud as well. Your father will be proud to see you with these two, now get to breakfast, and show the rest of your year how great you are." Snape said then pointed to the twins and held his finger against his lips with a wink before sweeping into the great hall.

The twins smirked at each other over her head, who knew Snape had a heart, or that his heart rested with a tiny metamorphmagus that just happened to be his family, who knew he even had a family.

"Uncle Sev, how in Merlin's saggy underpants did that happen, and why were you home schooled when your Uncle teaches here?" The twins asked in their back and forth way.

"My mom is his sister, she went to Beauxbatons, my dad was Gryffindor. My dad got blamed for a crime and was put in Azkaban, but he's innocent, but after he was locked up, mom kept me home. She tutored me and got my Uncles to help. Not long ago, she got sick, super sick, no-one could help her." It was at this point she started to cry.

Tears still falling from her eyes she smiled sadly at the twins. "She passed away, just before school started, my Uncles sorted out me coming to school late, so I could grieve in peace." She finished, then wiped her eyes dry.

The twins crushed her between them in a hug, they had never lost anyone, but hearing about her mom upset them, they imagined losing their mom as she was talking about losing hers.

They pulled apart and marched into the great hall, where the golden trio sat waiting, staring at Aritianna and not even trying to hide their dislike of the girl.

The first class of the day was defence against the dark arts, DADA, the twins flew her down the secret halls and left her in the room with a jaunty wave.

Aritianna turned and hugged the teacher with all her strength. "Uncle Moony, I missed you." She said in a soft voice, he didn't reply, just hugged her back with a sad smile on his face.

Before any students arrived, the two seperated and when the trio walked in, she was sitting at her desk with her cheek resting on her palm.

Class started and it became clear to everyone, that the new girl was smart, smarter than Hermione, she was performing every spell perfectly the first time, her answers were fast and correct and not word for word from the text book.

The rest of the day followed the same pattern, she excelled in charms, was amazing in potions, and only Neville was close to her level in herbology, by the end of the day Hermione was beyond angry.

Harry didn't care about her smarts, he was more worried about her evil ways, she seemed closer to the twins, even professor Lupin seemed to like her, he had noticed a lot of people calling her Anna and they all seemed to like her.

Harry kept watching her in the common room that night, she finished her homework and sat with the twins and Lee joking around, even Percy seemed to like her, she was manipulating them all, to get close to him.

It was late that night, when Harry managed to catch her alone, he was sick of evil people trying to kill him.

"What do you want from me? What does Snape want? Stop using the twins." He started ranting and babbling, Anna just sat there staring at him with a frown on her face.

Before she could comment on anything he asked or said the twins swept into the room, pulling her away from Harry and into the corner out of his hearing range, all Harry noticed was the confused frown on her face as she looked at him.
