After the war, life returned to mostly normal, hogwarts was rebuilt, Harry finally stopped hating Anna, and Charlie and Anna were back in romania, looking after dragons.

Molly was furious, she wanted Charlie to get married in her yard, let her plan the entire thing, and set it up like she did with Bill's wedding, but Charlie refused.

Anna put her foot down when Molly arrived with a wedding dress for her, it was a tight dress, strapless, with a long train, tons of beading and way over the top.

Anna refused it, telling Molly she would be wearing her Daj's dress, as romani customs and tradition was important to her.

Anna also put her foot down on the location, they would be getting married in Romania, at the dragon sanctuary, the decorations would be chosen by Anna and Charlie.

Anna had asked Fleur to stand for her, as well as a few romani girls she was close to, and Ginny.

Charlie had asked Bill, and his friends from the sanctuary, the boys were pleased, as Charlie had chosen romani outfits, the men of the clan had helped him decide, leather pants with a loose shirt and traditional vest.

Molly had gone on a rampage, and starting trying to take over the food next, Anna again stopped her, the house elves had already been hired, and Trixy was making the cake.

All in all it was a stressful year for Anna and Charlie, until the romani elder overheard Molly trying to get her way, she pulled the woman aside and whispered in her ear, Molly went pale, and left the couple alone to plan their wedding.

They chose their official courting start date, as that was officially the first day they could get married, the romani welcomed the couple, happy they had followed tradition, even when they didn't have to.

Their day arrived, bright and sunny, Anna was in the romani caravans, safely away from Charlie's sight, he was in his cabin, with the men, getting an earful of handy tips and hints, some of them were so graphic they set Charlie blushing.

Bill stood with Charlie at the aisle waiting for Anna, he had never seen his brother this happy before, he was proudly standing in front of family, friends and to his mothers shame, even dragons to speak his wedding vows.

Anna stepped to the aisle, her head was lowered and covered with the veils of the romani, the elder male who had adopted her into the clan walked her down the aisle, as the end, in deference to their split heritage, the veils were removed in order.

"First the veil of friendship, shown through their years of being friends. Next of courtship, shown with courting gifts and words spoken. Third is of dating, of romance, and the start of love. Fourth for betrothal, of love and life, and promises to be made. Fifth is marriage, of vows to be spoken, love to be shared, life to be lived together, children to come. Last is of purity, like snow, our symbol for new beginnings and honour." The elder finished and after kissing Anna on her cheeks and forehead bowed to Charlie and accepted the pouch of payment, her dowry.

That had been the sticking point, dowry was traditionally significant, but over time had changed to a token, but this time the clan had found a man wanting to pay more, their final decision had made Anna laugh for hours.

They had agreed upon the three coins, but Charlie wanted to give more, they decided upon naming a child after an elder, and living in Romania for at least two more years, the part that had sent Anna laughing was the elder requesting Charlie's double chocolate brownies, and a dance at the wedding.

Charlie's mother saw the dowry payment and went to comment, but stopped when Anna's Daj stared her down.

The rest of the wedding was an interesting mix between romani traditions and the more British traditions, but both Charlie and Anna didn't care, they only cared about each other.

The house elves had out done themselves, there were soups, salads, roasts and sides, juice, ale, butterbeer and firewhiskey, the guests all raved aboit the perfection of the night.

The dancing began just the two newly-weds dancing the intricate steps to the romani dance, before switching to an elegant waltz and back, onlookers were impressed and even Aunty Muriel had nothing nasty to say about Anna.

The elder got his dance, and it had Anna in tears of laughter, he requested a tago, and marched Charlie around the dancefloor holding a rose in his mouth the entire time.

Molly got over her snit and started on Charlie about moving home and having kids, Charlie happily told her about the dowry agreement and canned her talks on kids by offering to introduce her to their huge scaley dragon babies.

It helped that right at that moment Anna was hugging the two dragons and spoiling them with attention and love, Molly looked on terrified as one of the romani kids ran to the dragons and started climbing in it, the dragon just lowered itself so the child was safer.

Molly watched on as Charlie joined his wife and laughed as the other dragon wrapped his head over Charlie's shoulder and pulled him closer to Anna.
