Day 9😕🙂

I woke up and looked at my phone only to see it was already 1:42pm and I look over next to me and see that kairi had already woke up so I get up and got some clothes and change into this

I then walk downstairs and say "thanks for waking me up kairi" as I roll my eyes and he says "you looked like you were really deep in sleep" I say "whatever, but now you gotta go buy me food" he says "umm how about no" I say "pretty please" kairi says "Ugh come on" as we are walking out the door my mom says "wait lemme talk to y/n" I nod and walk to her and we sit on couch as kairi waits in the car and she says "sooo idk if you remember but today is the day your umm father passed" I say "I did remember but I'm trying not to be sad about it" she nods and grabs my hands and says "it's ok to be sad" she hugs me and I say "love you" and get up and walk outside and get in the car with kairi

As we are driving I just sit there with a blank expression when he says "you good?" As he waves one of his hands in front of my face and I say "oh um yeah" he pulls into a random parking lot and stops the car and says "talk to Me" I say "I'm fine" as I turn my body and stare out the window just it feel a tear roll down my cheek but I quickly wipe it and say "I'm not hungry just let's go back home" he says "y/n I know....I know why your sad" I look at him and he wipes my cheek and says "we are besties, I know everything about you and I know today is the day your dad passed and yes I know y'all had the best bond but he died saving life's"

If you didn't know my dad was a fire fighter and one day me and my mom turned on the tv to see that he died in a fire saving another fire fighter who had got stuck inside but I cried for the longest time because we had a strong bond, he may have not always been home but he was always there for me

Anyways I look at kairi and my eyes water and I just hug him and let it all out as I cry on his shoulder and he rubs my back and says "it's gonna be ok" I cry more and say "I miss him" he says "I miss him to, he treated me like his own son" as I back away and see a tear fall down kairis cheek and I wipe his face and say "no don't cry" he makes a funny face and I laugh a bit as tears still fall and I say "I lo-your the best bestie ever" he pauses for a second trying to figure out what I was gonna say but then smiles and rest his hand on my cheek and he looks me in my eyes and we both lean in but he pulled away and says "I-I can't" I nod and sit back and we just decide to go home and the whole ride is silent

Wtf why did I lean in and almost kiss my best friend AGAINNNN

One was we get home I get off the car and go inside and get on my phone and sit on the couch with alejandro and I lay my head on his shoulder and he says "what's wrong" I say "today is that day" he turns and hugs me and says "it's ok" the others come down to and kairi walks in the house and goes up to my room and Mattia and avani and malu sit on the couch and avani says "y-y/n come here" she was crying to and I get up and hug her tightly and I say "I-miss him so muchhhh" I cry hardly on her shoulder and she says "he was my dad to and we may have not had the strongest bond but I loved him" mattia says "would you like to go visit him" I look at Mattia and wipe my tears and say "yes please"  I get up and say "lemme see if kairi wants to come" they nod and avani goes to get mom while I go get kairi and I walk into my room to see kairi laughing smiling while talking to someone one the phone and I say "oh my bad" he says "nah come" I walk over and sit on the bed and he says "Her" and shows my face and I turn to him and say "stopppp" he laughs and the boy on the phone says "ohhh ok I see" kairi says "yeah so what did you need y/n" I say "oh we are gonna go visit my dad" he says "ok imma call you late bro" he hangs up and we walk downstairs and my mom comes to and she drives and we leave

When we get there I walk up to his grave slowly and I say "hi dad" i feel tears drop as avani and my mom kneel down next to me and avani says "we miss you" my mom says "I miss you my love" avani and my mom stand up as kairi kneels down to and says "hi sir, umm I want you to know that I'm taking care of y/n for you, I love her so much and I stg I will never stop being best friends with her" he smiles and ale grabs avanis hand and she makes a confused face and he says "yeah and I got avani, she doesn't know it but i like her, a lot, and Imma take care of her" avani smiles and hugs ale when Mattia bends down and says "and y/n and avani are like sisters to me. I will continue to treat them like sisters and for their mom imma continue to treat her respectfully and like a mother because she had been doing amazing with these girls and we all miss you" we group hug when it starts to rain and everyone gets up and walks to the car and but I stay sitting there and I say "love you dad"

My hand goes to my chest feeling something when I realize my necklace, it was a necklace, a locket, my father Gave it to me when I was younger

•FLASHBACK•

Dad: come here y/n
Me: ok coming

Dad: ok sweetie I want you to have this, it's a locket with a picture of me and you, so you know imma fire fighter and I save life's but this a dangerous job and one day if I don't make it, I want you to know imma still always be here for you no matter what

My dad kissed my forehead as I say "I love you to daddy" and I hug him and then he puts the locket on me and he smiles with tears in his eyes and says "ok baby, go play" he stands up from kneeling down and hugs my mom as I run upstairs to avani and say "look what daddy gave me" she says "that cool, he gave me this" she shows me a bracelet that's just like my necklace but it's also a locket but just a bracelet one and then I say "we match sissy" she laughs and we finish playing

I then come back as I hear kairi saying "y/n come on, we gotta go" I say "ok love you dad" kairi grabs my wrist and we run to the car and I say "I feel a little better" avani says "I saw that your remembered your necklace" as I smile and she says "I still have my bracelet to" she smiles and I say "wow, at least I know he is in a Better place now" she nods and we go back to the house

Once we get back to the house I say "well imma go to my room" they nod and I go up to my room and change into this

And kairi walks in and says "you ok?" I say "oh, yeah" he sighs and shuts the door and grabs my hand and pulls me into a hug and says "it's ok to be sad y/n, it's ok to cry, don't hold it back" I sigh as I hug kairi tightly and say "you know your The best" he smiles and says "well I am your bestie" I laugh and he says "well Watcha wanna watch" I shrug and hand him the remote and we sit on the bed and watch 'Friends'

Kairi ended up falling asleep when I go on my phone and see my lock screen as me and my dads last pic together and I say "i miss you so much" as I feel Rees roll down my cheeks and I just put my phone down and lay there when kairi moves around and he says "wait why you crying" I say "just missing my dad" he hugs me and says "it's gonna be ok, get some sleep" he turns the other way and so do I and I just lay there quietly crying when I eventually fall asleep
