"Hurry up," Sorin growled to the clothing designer who rushed around grabbing some measuring tape and pins.

"I'm very sorry," the green-brown haired man bowed before rushing over to Kunimi.

"Sorin, why don't you grab a few drinks for yourself and then I'll call you when I'm finished," Kunimi suggested to Sorin, hoping to lift up the tension that was created. It was obvious Sorin wanted a drink.

"Sounds like a good idea," Sorin nodded, "see ya in a couple of hours."

He rushed out of the room.

"I apologize, sir," the designer sighed.

"It's... fine, Tadashi," Kunimi groaned, "but I said you could call me Kunimi."

Yamaguchi shrugged and took a pin from his mouth to hold some fabric in place. Yamaguchi was another one of those friends he would hang out with outside of work, but Yamaguchi never seemed up for it lately.

"Ouch."

"Sorry!"

"How's Tsukishima?" Kunimi asked.

Yamaguchi was silent for a bit as he measured Kunimi's arms, but he finally answered, "it's difficult..."

"How so?"

"We got into a pretty big fight a while ago," Yamaguchi sighed, "I just asked about who this black haired guy he was with was.. And he got a bit defensive so I got scared. I kept questioning and he just said it was a co-worker and he was upset that I "didn't trust him," and that I "accused him of cheating.""

"I'm sorry," Kunimi muttered, not knowing what to say. He had a good relationship with his girlfriend.

"So, he's been coming home late and sleeping in the guest room," Yamaguchi finished, putting in another pin, "and I feel horrible because I found out today the boy he was with, Kuroo, was actually just a co-worker and they were meeting to discuss work and that Kuroo has a husband named Kenma."

"Maybe just apologize," Kunimi suggested.

"I want to, I love him a lot," Yamaguchi sighed, "how's Rei doing?"

Rei, Kunimi's girlfriend.

"She's good, she's been working late nights and sometimes overnight shifts and she's usually sleeping when I wake up for work," Kunimi informed.

"Sounds good," Yamaguchi finished up, "we're all done here."

"Thank you, Tadashi."

"No, thank YOU, Kunimi," Yamaguchi smiled, "I'm going to talk to Tsukki when he gets home."

"Alright, hope everything ends up alright, if you can, why not come to dinner with Iwaizumi and I?"

"I'll keep that in mind."

And with that, Kunimi left the household and pulled out his phone to call Sorin.

"..."

"Sorin?"

"All good, Kunimi?"

"Yes, are you drunk?"

"Just a little," Sorin giggled, obviously a lot more drunk than he let on.

"Uh, catch a cab home, I'll just head back to my apartment by myself," Kunimi grumbled and hung up the phone before stuffing his hands into his pockets before trudging through the cold autumn air, his breath pretty visible as he breathed.

"Ew, Kunimi!"

"Why are you so ugly?"

"If you disappeared, no one would notice you're missing."

"Why not just take a swan dive off the roof?"

Kindaichi put his foot on Kunimi's chest before pushing down, causing Kunimi to gasp for air. Kunimi lost his breath as a foot hit his ribs as he spit up some crimson blood. His ribs ached as it hurt for him to breath.

"Hey! What are you guys doing?!" A boy called out.

"Sh*t, let's go Kindaichi," Makki muttered and the two boys ran off.

"Are you alright?" A boy with dark brown hair that swept outwards and matching brown eyes filled with worry came into Kunimi's view.

A 3rd year. Kunimi knew him. He was very popular at Seijoh. Oikawa Toru. He kneeled down by Kunimi's aching body.

"It hurts near my ribs and it hurts to breath as well," Kunimi answered Oikawa.

"Alright, just stay here," he stood up, "I'm going to get someone to help."

Kunimi found himself in front of his apartment complex as he began the trek up the stairs on the side of the building.

"Why did fate have to deliver me back into Kindaichi's hands?" Kunimi muttered to himself, "and that son of a bitch doesn't even remember me. Damn him."

Kunimi suddenly stopped as he looked at the black hair man who stood in front of his apartment door, shaking slightly due to the cold.

"What are you doing here," Kunimi asked, "Kindaichi?"
