Tamera didn't show up for school that day, everyone was wondering what might've happened to her.
Samantha :I'm sure she's fine, I talked with her last night on the phone, though she did sound a little drunk, but, she said it was an energy drink.
Samuel: she's probably down with a hangover, I doubt she'll come for rehearsal.
Karen: no biggie, so far these past few weeks, everyone's performance has been superb, even you Samuel, which is quite shocking.
Samuel: hahaha, you're so funny, you're jokes are better than my dog's.
Karen: at least you've gotten better at acting, else this play would be going straight to hell. Anyway, after rehearsal we'll head over to Tamera's place and check on her, I'll even bring some medicine so she'll be in top shape for tomorrow night.
After rehearsals
They arrived at Tamera's house at about 4 pm. They met her mother crying profusely and her father trying to console her.
Arturo: Hello, you must be Tamera's friends, please I hear you guys are problem solvers so please come take a look at my daughter.
Tamera's room
They found Tamera asleep on her bed, wearing her costume and had a red rose in her hands.
Imogen: wow, she really took the rehearsals to heart, she actually looks like she's under a sleeping spell.
Arturo: I thought the same thing, that she was acting, but then when we tried to wake her up, she wouldn't budge, we tried everything, we've shaken her, tickled her, blown a horn, poured a bucket of ice cold water, nothing worked!
Shawn:(touches her body) then why does she feel normal, her hair doesn't even feel or smell damp.
Arturo: we noticed that too, we called the family doctor, he said she was completely fine, just asleep.
Nigel:(sits beside her) Tamera? Wake up its me, Nigel. Please wake up you're scaring us.(shakes her) Tamera!
Arturo: it's no use, nothing works.
Taylor: let me try, if this doesn't work, then she's definitely under some kinda spell(jacks her) Tamera! Wake up!(slaps her) I'm not kidding wake up!(slaps her again, harder)
Five minutes later
Tamera's face was supposed to have shown some sign or reaction at the very least from receiving back-to-back slaps for the past five minutes, yet she didn't even flinch.
Taylor: there is definitely something wrong.
Steven: yeah, if Taylor's slap didn't wake her, it's gonna be difficult to wake her up.
Shawn: Mr Gallardo, how long has she been asleep?
Arturo: since last night.
Samuel: did she take anything strange before she fell asleep?
Arturo: now that I think about it, when she arrived home after her evening jog she was acting very hyper, and she was holding a glass, apparently someone gave it to her, but before I could ask her she raced up to her and slept off.
Chris: was this the glass?(holds up a wine glass)
