It's a new year at UA there's a special breakfast for the students and parents of all the third years, after the opening ceremony. Everyone is happily mingling and eating finger food. Except the class of 3A, they are gathered around one particular student.
"Bakugo you have not matured in 3 years! Your speech today was soo alienating
It's worse then your first one at the sports festival. You can't insult everyone and think its ok, just because you ended the speech by saying Plus Ultra!" Scolds Momo to the feisty blonde, her mother nodding in agreement with her daughter.
"Tch! Whatever! If they can't swallow the truth that's not my problem." He grunts in response. His meek father standing next to him cleaning his glasses awkwardly. Mitsuki didn't come the the ceremony. They decided one blonde Bakugo was enough for school events.
"Son I'm very proud of you for being first in your class, but maybe your classmate has a point. You catch more bees with honey."
"Shut up old man ! I'm not here to become an bee keeper, I'm going to be the number one hero!" He yells back full of energy.
Another mother, with warm brown hair and rosey cheeks, giggles and link her arm with Ochakos'.
"You're right dear... angry pomeranian."
This breaks any tension in the class and everyone breaks out in laughter.
A handsome man with black hair and sapphire coloured eyes, comes up and squeezes Ochakos shoulder, with a plate of snacks in hand.
"Seems like I missed the joke." He warmly chuckles, as he offers the snacks between Ochako and her mother. The parents continue to chat with each other and the teachers, as the students chat amongst themselves.
"Omg Ochako ! You never told us your step dad was soo hot!!!" Mina squealed. She was staring intently at the dreamy step dad.
Ochako blushed "Who dad?? maybe I dunno. I've never noticed. I mean he makes my mum super happy which is all that matters to me!"
The financial stress of the construction company led her parents to divorced in her first year at UA. Her dads' pride was severely hit and he just disappeared from her life after that. It was a struggle for both her mum and herself for a while. Then one day her mum came home giddy as a teenager. She explained a handsome coworker asked her on a date. As they were both divorced and he had a son in college in Sendai. They decided they were already old so why wait and got married quickly. Ochako was so happy her mum found happiness again and he even insisted that they drop formalities and she just call him Dad.
