I woke up to a sore throat and stuffy nose. I groaned and hid under my covers trying to go back to sleep. I just couldn't get warm. I got up and went through the secret door to Zach's room. I knew he would be up. The boys have to leave early for a meeting. Just as I thought, Zach was on his bed dressed.
"Zachy, can I borrow one of your sweatshirts today?" Zach looked up and nodded.
"Yeah come on sweetheart." Zach took me to his closet and gave me his green one. I thanked him and put it on.
"You feel ok? Your cheeks are flushed." I nodded.
"Yeah. I think I might just be catching a cold." Zach nodded.
"Come here hun. I want my cuddle buddy with me before we all have to leave." We went to Zach's bed and watched TV. Soon enough I heard someone come into my room to come wake me up. The person left and went to another room. I couldn't hear what they were saying but soon two people were running down to Zach's room.
"Zach! Evelynn went miss-" Daniel started but saw us cuddled up together.
"Corbyn. She's in here." Dani took a sigh of relief. Corbyn ran in.
"Jesus Ev, you scared me to death."
"Yet you're still here alive. It looks like you're breathing."
"Smart ass." Corbyn mumbled. I was too tired to care.
"Come on love. Get up and get ready for school. You took a shower last night right?" I nodded my head.
"Ok get dressed and we will drop you off at Kiera's house." I got up and went to get dressed.

I put Zach's sweatshirt back on and put my hair in a messy ponytail. I grabbed one my many pairs of converse. For the past month or so, I have been a converse ambassador. It's really fun.
All of a sudden, I got a really big headache. I went to my bathroom and grabbed some painkillers. I put some in a baggy and put that in my backpack. Our school lets us take painkillers to school. I took the other one in my hand. I went downstairs where the boys were waiting.
I waved goodbye to the boys as I went up to Kiera's house. I knocked on the door and Kiera's older sister Ava opened the door.
"You know you don't have to knock Evelynn." She said while chuckling.
"Who is here at this hour? Oh Evelynn you know you don't have to knock."
"I got the memo." I said chuckling. Kiera came into the kitchen.
"You look like shit girly."
"Kiera!"
"It's fine. I feel like shit." Sophia doesn't mind if we cuss. Well, to an extent.
