Just a side not I did edit the last chapter so now to catch you up if you don't want to read it, when Hanna shoved the kid out of the way Stace tried to get her to help but she wouldn't and now their both irritated with each other.
It was my first time ever going to a summer camp and to help me get along i was there with some of my old school friends. It was one of the only good camps for a few hours around so it attracted a bunch of campers.
I've never been any good at making friends but with my other friends there it helped.
The camp had a huge lake filled with diving boards and slides, but the thing I liked even more than the like was the 9-Square court.
I could beat almost anyway in the whole camp. But the best part was that it was close to the path where everyone had to walk. I could see Marcus Palmwood walking up from the lake every day.
But then I didn't think anything of it. People from hours away came to the camp all the time, he could live in a different state for all I knew.
But then I started seeing him everywhere.
Restaurants, church, Walmart, parking lots, and in my youth group, he was everywhere!
But, he was always with his friends or family. Playing sports or competing with his friends. He was never alone!
And then one day I found myself looking for him during the church services and in public. And when I did see him or even any of his friends I tripped and got flustered.
I really wanted to talk to him but I never had the guts.
Then the virus in China spread to America. We were all forced to stay inside and everything was turned virtual. We weren't allowed to go outside unless it was an emergency.
That was last summer and when we moved, me and Marcus would go to the same school.
He was a year older than me and in 10th grade but maybe this year I would finally have the guts to talk to him.
I was shook out of my thoughts as the room was filled with a horrible screeching/beeping sound.
Another short chapter but this backstory needed to be said soooo.... anyway, I hope you're having a good day/night/morning!
