your perspective:
me and paddy have been best friends since literally birth. our moms were best friends in high school and have not lost touch since then. i have an older brother named hunter (sorry i'm basing this off of me for this part) the twins and him have been inseparable and neither have me and paddy. i've had a crush on him for ever i've just never had enough courage to tell him, and i don't want to ruin the relationship we have and it be awkward. i've heard from what the twins and tom say he has a huge crush on me too. but it's hard for me to believe that since we've known each other for this long that he would like me that way.
but, every day after school we go over to his house because my parents and brother have to work and they won't be home for a few hours and paddy don't like me staying at home by myself. we go up to pads room and sit there and talk like we always do. it started off pretty normal, just me and pads just fidgeting with stuff around the room and talking about our days, until he started getting weird and awkward.
Paddy's perspective:
me and y/n have been friends since birth. i've started liking her in the past years but i've never done anything about it because i'm just not sure if she likes me that way but imma just get it out in he open and if she rejects me hopefully we can still be friends. it won't be that bad right?
"paddy you good there dude?" i hear y/n say apparently i've been really awkward today and just not concentrated.
"yeah y/n/n i've been thinking about something but i'm worried it'll mess up our relationship"
" pads you know you can tell me anything and i won't judge you for it no matter how stupid or concerning. what did you do, egg the principals house, or what, become bffs with my ex, i don't care"
"what? no but i was planning on the egg house for the end of school year prank. but, *deep breath* ireallylikeyouiloveyouevenandimworriedyoumightnotfeelthesameway"
y/n perspective:
luckily i understood the majority of the words he's said and i'm in honestly in shock i didn't think. we would ever confess this to each other. "ummmmmmm"
