sweet magnolias: Tyler and Annie (ON HOLD)

Chapter 1- Hospital P1

It's been three weeks since the car crash. It turned out that it was Annie who was the passenger. Everyone thought it was Tyler next to Kyle, but when Maggie, Helen, Dana, Sue, Ronnie and bill saw Tyler and his friends running down to see what happened, they soon realised that Annie was not with them. As soon as they saw the kids, Dana Sue's heart dropped. Nearly 10 minutes after seeing the kids, the paramedics rescued Annie from the flipped car. She was transported straight to the hospital. Only Dana Sue, Ronnie, Helen, Maggie, bill and Tyler went to the hospital, the rest of the kids went home.

About half an hour later, Kyle and Annie were admitted to the hospital shortly after the others arrived. The doctors told the families that they both needed surgery. Kyle and Annie were transported straight to surgery. It was almost 3 hours later when the doctors arrived with the news. It turned out that Kyle was ok and had only a broken leg and would be waking up any minute now, but it was a different story for Annie. It turned out she was in a medically induced coma due to her injuries and also had a broken arm. When Maddie heard about Kyle, she sighed in relief, but when Dana Sue heard about Annie, she fell to her knees crying. Everyone gathered around Dana Sue, but nobody knew exactly what state Annie was in until Dana sue told them. 

When the others found out about the state she was in, they were in shock, but for some reason, Tyler took it the hardest other than anyone except for Dana Sue. 

" Um, mom, I'm going to go outside for some fresh air. I'm going to be back soon." - T.

" Ok, Tyler is back soon because we are gonna go see Kyle and Annie soon." - M.

" Yea, I will be back in like 10 minutes. Bye." - T

" Bye Tyler." - M

It was almost half an hour later, and Maddie wondered where Tyler had gone. While the bill was with Kyle and Helen, Dana Sue and Ronnie with Annie, Maddie decided to find Tyler. When Maddie walked outside, she saw Tyler sitting down crying. 

" Hey Tyler, what's wrong? -M

Even though Maddie knew what was wrong, she had a feeling that something else was bothering him. Instead of answering, Tyler just looked at her. You could tell he had been crying for a while.

" Talk to me Tyler, I know there is something else going on." - M

" It's my fault." - T

"What is?" -M

"It's my fault that Annies in the coma." - T

" What, no, you couldn't have known that this would have happened." - M

" It should have been me in the car, not Annie, I should have been the one to make sure Kyle got home. "  - T 

" Tyler, don't talk like that. You couldn't have known that this would happen it's not your fault. " - M

" I was such a horrible friend to her, some stuff happened, and I should have made it right, and now I might never be able to, and there was some stuff I needed to say to her even though I released it too late." - T

" Tyler, don't worry, she will wake up, and when she does, you can talk to her, tell her what you need to and make it up to her, and you can always visit her until she wakes up." - M

" Ok, Thank you, but I can't see Kyle right now." -T

"Why?" -M

" I know it's not his fault that the car crashed, but I'm annoyed that he is fine except for the broken leg, but Annie is in a coma. I don't think it's fair. I'm not saying I want him in a coma; want them both to be fine. " - T.

" I know how you feel, but you should talk to him." - M

" I know, but I need a bit of time." - T

" Of course, do you want to go inside and see Annie for a little bit." - M

" Actually, yes." - T 

"Ok then, let's go." -M

"Mom."-T

"Yes, Tyler." - M

" Thank you." -T

" You're welcome,  I love you, you know." -M

" I love you too." - T
