It's been almost two months since the car crash. Kyle's leg healed apart from some cuts. He's ok, but Annie is still in the hospital. Tyler had been visiting but not all the time due to baseball and other things. There was no news on Annie; nothing had changed. Everyone visited Annie at different times. Dana Sue was probably the one who visited most. When Dana Sue was at work, the people who would see Annie were: Helen, Kyle, Tyler, Maggie and Ronnie.
It's the day before Annies birthday; it's her 16th. Everyone was out buying gifts and cards for Annie when she woke up. Only Dana Sue was with Annie; everyone else was at home. While Dana Sue was with Annie, she was praying; she held Annie's hand when she decided to get water.
When she let go of Annie's hand, she felt something holding her hand. It was Annie's hand. As soon as she saw it was Annie's hand, she immediately yelled for the doctors.
" Doctors, Come Quick, I think she's waking up." -DS.
The doctors rush in, and they tell Dana Sue to wait outside. About 15 minutes later, the doctors come back out and Tell Dana Sue that Annie is breathing on her own and will be waking up soon. When Dana Sue heard the news, she started crying tears of joy and thanked the doctors for everything. After she thanked the doctors, she rushed to Annie's hospital room. She didn't want to call the others because she wanted it to be a surprise. When everyone came for her birthday, they would get the shock of their life. Dana Sue was holding Annies hand when she saw Annie opening her eyes.
" Mom is that you." - A
" Yes, it is sweetie, how are you?" -DS
" I'm tired, what happened?" - A
" Well, there was a car crash, you and Kyle were admitted here, Kyle only had a broken leg, but you were in a come due to the injuries you sustained." -DS.
" How long was I in a coma for and what day is it?" -A
" You were in a coma for two months and tomorrow is your birthday." -DS
" 2 months wow, where is everyone?" - A
"Well, they are at home, and I haven't told them yet that you are awake."-DS.
" Why haven't you told them?" - A
" Well, I wanted it to be a surprise for tomorrow." - DS
" They will be so shocked when they see me." - A
"Yes, they will."- DS
" Can you wake me up before they get here." - A
"Of course, sweetie, now get some sleep. Goodnight."-DS
" Night." - A
