"Namjoon-"
"Hi, Hoseok, um, I know this is out of the blue and kind of selfish I guess, but could you come over? I really need you to come over," Namjoon spoke quickly into the phone as he tried to calm a screaming Yoongi and an upset Seokjin.
Hoseok could hear crying from the other end, so he agreed and hung up, getting in his car and quickly driving over to the Jeon house.
As soon as he went inside, he could hear crying. It sounded like a child, just the sound alone hurting his heart.
"Namjoon?" The redhead questioned loudly. As soon as he spoke, the cries died down a little and he could hear the soft sounds of feet running down the stairs.
"Yoongi! You're gonna get hurt! Don't run!"
Hoseok heard a voice he knew as Namjoon's. He was soon met with a pair of small arms around his waist. The redhead looked down to see a head of blonde locks, the small male wearing a light blue onesie with thin white strips on it.
"Hoseok! I'm sorry! I-"
"I-It's ok, Namjoon," He spoke quietly as the little lifted his head to meet Hoseok's eyes.
"Seokkie," The boy mumbled happily as he clung to Hoseok, letting out a small sniffle. Yoongi made a small noise, making Hoseok's heart melt for the nth time that day, and made grabby hands at him. Hoseok hesitantly picked him up, surprised by how light the boy was.
"I guess we should talk now," Namjoon broke the silence, Hoseok nodding and following the couple to the couch.
"So, Yoongi's a little. It's where you get into the headspace of a child, it's a coping mechanism. It helps with stress, well, in Yoongi's case it's a bit different. Should we just tell him what happened?" Seokjin looked at his boyfriend who shook his head.
"Yoongi said he would tell him when he felt ready," Namjoon said as Seokjin nodded.
While the Namjin couple explained, Yoongi made himself comfortable on Hoseok's lap, his head on the redhead's shoulder. Hoseok listened to the couple, occasionally looking down at the boy curled up in his lap.
"So, uh, any questions?" Namjoon asked.
Hoseok shook his head no. The only question he had, they answered. He wanted to know Yoongi's past, but he also didn't want to intrude.
Yoongi began to whine and pout. He turned his head and started sucking on Hoseok's shoulder. Hoseok tensed up, not knowing what to do.
"Yoongi! Don't do that!" Seokjin didn't mean to, but he raised his voice too loud for Yoongi's liking. The raven-haired male stood and pulled the little away from Hoseok.
Yoongi's eyes filled with tears again as he bit his lip. Hoseok could tell he was about to cry again, and he felt kinda guilty, so he stood and gently took Yoongi from Seokjin.
"I-It's ok, Hyung," Hoseok nodded, the corners of his lips rising a little when the blonde rested his face in the crook of his neck.
"He's probably hungry, and I think he's smaller than he was before," The eldest male walked off the kitchen to make a bottle for Yoongi.
Hoseok sat down again, holding Yoongi close as Namjoon stood up. Namjoon walked back up to Seokjin's room and grabbed Yoongi's dino plushie, his paci, and his blanket.
When he came back downstairs, Hoseok was feeding Yoongi as Seokjin began dinner. The silver-haired male smiled and set the little's most prized possessions beside Hoseok for when he is done with his bottle.
"I'm sorry, Hoseok," Namjoon spoke after a long time of silence, only little grunts from Yoongi and small sounds from the kitchen filled the house.
Hoseok looked up from admiring Yoongi's pretty features to look at Namjoon. "What for?""For dragging you into this. I'm sure you would prefer to be home right now, not feeding a baby," Hoseok smiled and shook his head.
"You're wrong... I would much rather be here than at home. Hell, it doesn't even deserve that name," Hoseok went back to staring at Yoongi's soft features, the blonde giggling and poking Hoseok's cheek.
"Oh- I-I'm sorry-" Namjoon stopped himself when Hoseok chuckled.
"Stop apologizing, Namjoon. You didn't do anything and you didn't know. It's ok," Namjoon nodded with a small smile.
"I want to move out of there..." Hoseok spoke after another period of silence. Namjoon looked at the slightly older redhead.
"I have so many bad memories there, but I'm broke. Nowhere will hire me, which really sucks since I need the money, but oh well. I don't stop trying though."
By now Yoongi was sucking happily on his paci and hugging his stuffie while looking into Hoseok's deep, brown eyes. He thought they were pretty, so he didn't wanna look away.
"Isn't Taehyung your best friend? Why not stay with him?" Namjoon questioned, smiling softly at the small moment unfolding in front of him.
"I don't wanna burden them with anything. Yeah, I've known them for a long time, but I would still feel bad..."
"So if I told you, you could stay with me, you wouldn't feel like a burden because we haven't known each other long?" The tall male asked, lightly chuckling at Hoseok's shocked expression.
"I-I... I mean, I would, but that's because I haven't known you long. I don't want your parents to have to take care of another kid.." Yoongi pouted as the man holding him frowned. He left out a small 'hmph' while poking Hoseok's cheek again.
"They wouldn't mind, Hoseok . If you don't want to, I understand, but just know my door is always open," Namjoon showed off his dimple smile.
Seokjin was walking back to the living room to tell the boys dinner was done, when suddenly the front door swung open, startling the four boys inside, especially Yoongi.
In walked Mr.Jeon followed by Jungkook, then Taehyung, then Mrs.Jeon, and lastly Jimin. Mrs.Jeon and Jimin set their luggage down before turning to the boys on the couch.
"Tae?"
"Hobi-Hyung?"
"What's going on?"
