When the girls came back they all went into the room where they saw Ms. Mclay in a white coffin. The girls put the flowers in her hands before they closed the coffin and Jordan picked it up and started to carry it on his shoulder. They went outside where Kaline dug a hole before Jordan gently set the coffin inside before they all covered it up. The girls gave the boys a flower before they kissed theirs, the boys did the same and they all handed their flowers to Taylor. She took a deep breath before she set the flowers on top of the grave, and set down a rock on top of them.

Tears started to fall down their faces as they watched the flowers moving in the wind.

"We love you Ms. Mclay."

When they went back into the house they remained silent while sitting around the living room. They were all staring off into space, and nobody made a sound at all.

"... What are we gonna do now?" Kaline asked.

"... We should just... try to cope."

Tears started to fall down Taylor's face, "I'm really gonna miss her."

Kaline pulled Taylor into a hug, letting her cry on her shoulders.

"We all will T."

Tears started to fall down Jordan's face but he quickly wiped them away. "I think I'm gonna head to bed."

Jordan started to head to his room and Kaline followed him in. As soon as they walked in the room Kaline shut the door behind her.

"Are you really trying to do the tough guy act?"

"Don't start Kaline."

"Jordan it's okay to cry you don't have to try to hide it from us."

"You can hardly judge you've been doing it ever since you met us."

"I know, but I also know that we need to be open with each other. We're literally all we have left. Ms. Mclay didn't make sacrifices so we could hide our feelings from each other."

"... I just don't know how to feel. This has never happened to me before."

"... You've never lost someone?"

"Never in my life... it feels so crazy. It's like I can't accept that she's gone even though I know she's never coming back."

"Jordan that's normal, I've lost family before, even though I wasn't close to them I still cried at their funerals and I felt the exact same thing. I would only really see them at holidays and family gatherings so whenever I saw them they'd be smiling, happy, and it seemed like there was nothing wrong with them. It always feels like it happened so suddenly."

"I'm scared."

"What are you scared of?"

"What if that happens to one of us? What if one of us gets killed? Kaline you almost died and you're the fastest one. What are we gonna do if something happens?"

"... All we can do is fight harder. And that's what we're gonna do now. We're gonna make Ms. Mclay proud."

"How do we know we can do this?"

"... We're never gonna know but nothing's gonna change if we don't try."

"I guess you're right."

"You wanna come back out there."

"... I'll meet you out there in a second."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, trust me I'm fine, I just need to breath for a second."

"Okay, I'll see you in a little bit."

Kaline walks out and closes the door behind her as soon as she leaves Jordan sits down on the bed and takes a deep breath before tears starts to fall from his eyes. He looked up at the window and saw the flowers on Ms. Mclay's grave. Soon he lays down on his bed and starts to cry his eyes out.
