It was a cold and long night, prince Patton, son of Rapunzel and Eugene, was asleep on his desk. His head was buried in his arms, covering the messy desk. Patton had stayed up all night trying to finish his work. He wanted everything to be ready by today. The small prince slowly woke up. He rubbed his tired eyes. He looked at his phone that was next to his face. It was 5:48 am. Patton looked out his window. He couldn't see much with the curtains covering it, but the morning sunlight could still be seen. He let out a soft sigh before concentrating back to his work.
The sun was shining over Auradon high, a school for the children of royalty. Patton was skipping in the school hallway. He stopped at a door and knocked. Emilia, daughter of Aurora and Philp, opened the door to her dear best friend. The prince smiled at her as she got out of her dorm room. The two walked in the hallway, talking about the upcoming events.
"Are you excited?" Asked happily the small princess. The prince smiled and looked at his friend.
"Of course, I am." He answered. They continued to walk, until they arrived at an office. They knocked on the door and they opened it. Both teens walked in the office of Fairy Godmother. She smiled at the two and invited them to sit. The two sat in the chairs as Fairy Godmother sat in her chair.
"Hello you two, how are you both doing this fine morning?" Asked the head mistress.
"We are alright, what about you Fairy Godmother?" answered Patton. She smiled and said that she was doing well. The Fairy took out some papers and handed them to the two students. These were four school schedules. One for each of the new students. The two young royals looked at the schedules and Patton looked at the headmaster.
"Goodness class?" Asked the prince. He was curious about the class. The head mistress looked at the two and sighed.
"The council wished for the transfer students to attend this class, to make them good people." she said. The two young royals looked at each other. They sighed and got up. Emilia thanked Fairy Godmother before leaving with Patton. The prince looked sad.
"Are alright Pat?" asked his dear friend. He gently slapped himself on his cheeks. All his cheerful energy was back. He turned his head to Emilia and he smiled.
"I should be happy they even approved of this, Emi, so I'm really excited." He was pumped to meet the exchange students the two pick out with the help of another friend. The two walked down the hall until they saw the library. They went in and made their way to a table. There was a redhead prince with his face on the table, whining about how hard school was. There also was a tall prince with black hair reading a book and taking notes in a journal.
"Now Roman, kiddo, you shouldn't give up that easily." Said Pat to the redhead prince.
"A prince should know the basics of oral communication." said the other prince not looking up from his book. Roman, son of Ariel and Eric, lifted his head and looked at the prince reading the book.
"Sorry I'm as smart as you Logan, son of Belle, the queen that's known for reading." He said, glaring at Logan. Emilia left the group of the princes to go find a book. Patton sat at the table and smiled at the two. Logan closed his book, setting it on the table.
"So you have the transfer student's schedules?" He asked, facing the small prince. The long haired prince nodded and showed his friend the papers. Roman looked at the two, he had no idea who the new students would be. All he knew was that they were from the Isle of the lost, or simpler terms, villain kids. He was frustrated about the idea of villains walking around the school freely, but his dear friends had their heart set on making this project work. Even Logan seemed more excited than ever, even though he hardly showed any emotions. He sighed quietly and turned to Patton, showing a bright smile. Patton smiled back, not knowing all the frustration and anger hiding behind that fake smile. Logan headed Patton the papers back and turned to Roman.
"Roman, you should finish your work before the transfer students arrive." Said the almost emotionless prince.
"Whatever nerd." Said the red haired prince before looking down at his work and continuing it. The two others talked together, until Emilia came back. She sat down at the table. She had a book in her arms.
"What did you take?" Asked Logan, who was interested by the book. Emilia placed the book on the table, the cover said "What is Anxiety?"
"I see, it's extremely interesting" Said the nerdy prince. The small princess was embarrassed, but gave him a smile. Emilia had an interest in mental health and illness.
"Thank you Lo, I always found this kind of thing interesting." She said looking down at the book. Roman took the chance that everyone was distracted to look at his phone. He saw the time and almost jumped out of his chair. The others noticed this sudden reaction he had.
"Roro, you good?" Asked Patton worrying about him.
"Yes I'm good but we need to go." Roman said while starting to pack his stuff. Logan packed as well, putting everything in his backpack. The four teens left the library and speed walked to their Roman's and Patton's dorm. The taller princes left their bags and Roman took a small golden crown, with emeralds on it. They made their way to the front gate. They join Fairy Godmother and several other students and staff, all awaiting the new students. Roman quietly asked Emilia if she had a mirror on her, because he wanted to make sure his crown was well placed. He gave her back the small mirror. Roman was lost in his thoughts, telling himself that letting villain kids in the school was the worst of ideas. He was surprised when Logan offered to help Patton and Emilia who suggested the project. Did the others really forget what happened in the past? That these people were evil and just want to make others suffer. Roman was confused and frustrated. He was brought back to reality by the noise of the band playing and a clean black limo entering the gate.
