It was the 24th century and the world had survived three nuclear wars. The world as we knew it didn’t exist anymore. The United States remained untouched in which changed the whole game. They split up the world into two parts. The Supreme Nation of United States and the Wastelands.

The people who could remain in the country to live and work and vote was called the Privileged, they were the elite who lived off the fruition of the nation. They lived secure within their mansions with high security guarding them like at all time. They other half living among the Privileged were called the Nether, these people worked at the bottom and did the dirty work that no one else wanted.

Outside of the Supreme Nation of United States lay the rest of the world where nations lay in decay overcome by anarchy and total absence of morals.

There was no room for error in the Privileged land, even the Privileged people was scared for error themselves. In their world order and compliance was key.

Which meant that when the Uprising revolt started in Times Square, the whole game changed. Alais was there, on April 5th when the Supreme Nation started to burn down the New York Public Library, proclaiming that they were doing the Nether a favor as well as clearing their heads of stupidity. In the end, Alais figured, their agenda was to erase all history of them ever practicing political mayhem.

As she saw the sky being filled with burning papers, she saw a future where no one could tell the truth of what had happened and the Supreme Nation getting away with all that they had caused.

She realized that she had nothing to loose anymore and joined the Uprising barricade at Times Square, and her life was never the same again.
