The Runaway

Oh no!, he thought after he saw his guardian entering. Mr. Wilson got a sight of him. He looked mad. “Jonathan! Trying to run away huh?”, he called out. Jonathan turned around with fear. He entered the house with his guardian. Mr. Wilson was anxious. Spending so much money on him for making him a well mannered person and he tried to come home like this! He quickly took his wooden stick and started beating. He beat him to the death. “What a shame to see you! “, he said. “I am hurt but instead you are beating me more... “ Jonathan said, “Don’t you think that its a really shame!”. His guardian stopped beating him. “Don’t you think that its too much!”. Jonathan picked himself up. “ I cant live like this anymore!” he said. “I don't care “ his guardian said, "Did you gave me any respect?, You are no good! Why did I even adopted you?. Jonathan left the room, crying. He packed up and made to his escape from the balcony. The sky was getting dark and soon it started to rain. Jonathan was running and crying.
He found a bench so he take a seat. Luckily, Laurie was standing in front of him with an umbrella. " What are you doing here?" Laurie asked. "I r-ran away from ho-home". " Come with me otherwise you will get sick!".
“Should I?”. “You should! Now come with me!”. He took Jonathan with him to his house. "Who's this?" Laurie's Mom asked. She was Lilian. She became a widow when Laurie was 12 years old. She put her hand on Jonathan's head realizing he was sick. She made him lay down on a bed and started treating him. She got to know about Jonathan's Runaway story. "“You can stay with us now onwards”,she said " Also I will try to enrolled to Laurie's school  next month!” “Oh my god! That's too much as a help!”. “I don’t mind at all ". Jonathan was excited. " Jonathan can I talk to you privately about something", she said. "Sure?"
