Sitting in class Yashiro Nene heard the announcement given by her teacher as the bell rang.

"It's been a pleasure class, I hope you all have an amazing summer break."

She knew Tsuchigomori was probably happy he didn't have to see his students for almost a month, but he couldn't hide that solemn expression he held when most of them waved goodbye and wished him to have an amazing break as well.

Perhaps her teacher was becoming soft.

After all, he had done so much for her...

"Wow sensei... the field trip was pretty fun, huh?" Nene stretched as she sat on a chair her teacher provided for her in his room.

"Sure kid, if you really enjoyed almost dying."

"Hey! I know I wasn't being the most careful, but it's not my fault the horse threw me off!" She protested back as her teacher scoffed.

"And it's also not your fault you almost got stabbed by Yugi?" He reminded her, making her slump back in defeat. "Look Yashiro-san..."

"I had too!" The girl yelled, making Tsuchigomori lean back surprised. "I couldn't just let him stab his own twin brother! ...knowing Amane-Kun, he'd probably
never forgive himself for that."

She didn't even know what the cause of his Amane's death was, although in the past, their first encounter with Tsukasa, made him look so weak...so vulnerable. She couldn't stand that expression on him.

"Yashiro-san. Never put yourself in those types of situations... ever again."

"Yes sensei."

Satisfied with her answer, he leaned back and directed his hand towards the desk.

"And I have something to show you..." Opening one of his drawers, he pulled out a white book.

"Does this look off to you?"

"Depends..." Her stomach began to churn. "Who's book is that supposed to be?"

With a sigh, he handed it to the girl. "You'll have to see for yourself.

Turning the book over, she looked at its spine, the words "Yashiro Nene" adorning it.

"It's...mine?"

"Yes, that's what it says, doesn't it?"

But that was the problem, it shouldn't have been hers. Last time she saw her book, it was a pink color. This just wasn't making sense.

"How is that possible." Her hands trembled while gripping its hardcover. "I'm not supposed to be alive in this era... right?"

"Of course you aren't." Putting a hand towards his chin, Tsuchigomori paused. "But, the only hint we had to get you back home was fulfilling your wish... did you get what you wanted?"

Nene thought back to the time she spent with her friend. That really was a tough question her sensei asked... Did she get what she wanted?
