𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙚

It was a rainy Sunday morning in St. Louis, Missouri. I decided to go on a walk alone outside. I had a long week of filming video diaries with everyone and eating until I couldn't breath anymore.

As I was walking down the lightly paved sidewalk I saw a man started to follow me. I turned the corner and he turned with me, I walked across the street and he walked with me. And the only thing that came to mind was "Shit, I'm about to be kidnapped."

I turned around to face whoever was following me. My eyes widened and my breath hitched with the sight of him, "Hey honey!" My dad greeted me with his fake toothy grin. He wrapped his arms around my torso sending chills down my spine, "Hello, dad." I replied

"I heard you were in St. Louis with all of your friends, maybe you can introduce me." He continued. I nodded my head slowly in response, knowing I didn't want him anywhere near any of them. Especially Zelie who knew everything he'd done. "Yeah I think they're busy."

As soon as the innocent words left my mouth his smiled dropped viciously, "You can introduce me to your friends." He repeated himself. Knowing the only way out of his reach is to give him what he wants, I agreed.

We walked back together to the bus where everyone was standing outside. Z saw me and her eyes averted to the man walking beside me, I could see her whole entire face darken with each passing second. When my father and I stood in front of them the boys slowly introduced themselves.

"Hey I'm Calum, great to meet you." Yeah it's a fucking honor to meet such an achieving man. You know he should get an award for being the most manipulative man alive, my dad.

"Zelie! SO good to see you again." My dad smiled but she did not return with anything kind, "Paul. Nice to see you're still living." Damn Z really hit him with the boomer comment.

When we all went inside the venue I could hear Luke talking to Z behind me, "Are you going to film a video diary? Wouldn't it be nice-" "Not while he is here." Zelie was never the type of person to shut someone down so this interaction, surprised me.

My father definetly got the entire band of 5sos to believe he is just a sweet old man who raised me. I opened up my phone an plopped onto the couch with a very deep sigh, "So I hear Calum is your boyfriend?" My dad brought up the one thing I was hoping to avoid.

Calum looked at me and then looked at him, "Yes dad." I replied, quite short, "You could've done better honey." He didn't even bother speaking lower. He walked around Calum like he was some statue.

Every time he took a breath I got angrier, how could someone say that? How could he openly say something so insulting to an amazing person like Calum? "I mean, he doesn't hae that many muscles, probably can't protect you. He eats a lot, most likely will never-"

"THAT'S ENOUGH! You can not come into my life all of a sudden and critizes my friends like that. What the hell goes through your mind dad? I swear you have never been a father figure in my life and this is definetly not helping. You know what you have done, and you know I know all of it too. Please just leave." I snapped. And I already know my consequences.

"Well then. Atleast see me out the door." He muttered. He walked out the door and I followed close behind. I barely stepped through the door before he grasped my hips viciously and slammed me against the wall, my head banged so hard I heard ringing in my ears.
