𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲 || Calum Hood

𝙏𝙚𝙣

The sun had just about risen when my eyes were coming into focus. I was shaken from my sleep by Z who seemed stressed out, "Z? What's happening?"

She usually doesn't touch me when I'm sleeping so to say I'm worried, would be an understatement, "Mills I think.." She pause and bit her finger nails

"I think I like Ashton." She bit her bottom lip, and with that I let out a big sigh of relief, "You woke me up just to tell me that?" I groaned. She laid her head down next to me and crossed her arms onto her chest,

"But what am I supposed to do Mills? I mean, I really like him." She turned and her eyes were bloodshot, indicating she didn't sleep.

"Z are you insane? You didn't sleep at all because of Ashton? You're going to pass out!" I sat up and leaned against the wall behind me,

"I couldn't help it! What if he doesn't like me back?" She whispered the last part, "Don't think so negatively. I mean, there was no hope for Calum and I and now we're pretty good friends!" I encouraged her. It was only met with a vicious eyeroll,

"Yeah JUST friends." She mocked, "Come on, you two have to be dating." she smiled, "Well, we are." Her eyes widened and her mouth fell open, "For the press you idiot!" I hit her arm softly.

"You tease me too much." She whined, I laughed at her childishness, "Where are we going today?" I asked her, grabbing my black cropped tank top and jean shorts,

"I think we're just walking around in a garden, maybe going to a cafe before the show." She pushed a piece of her blush pink hair behind her ear, "Oh I'm going to get my hair trimmed, maybee you should try something new?" She smiled with her big cheeky grin

"Like what?" I've been getting bored of my hair lately, so maybe trying something new isn't too bad of an idea, "Blonde?" She mentioned. I never really considered blonde, but I guess I could try it.

When we arrived at the salon Z checked us in and came to sit with me in the waiting area. I was a little nervous but mostly excited for the new change. I wasn't sure why but I often found myself wondering what Calum would think.

As I made my way to the chair that the stylist instructed me to sit in, I took a deep breath, "It's going to look great." I repeated in my mind.

She applied the products into my hair thoroughly and talked about subjects I really did not understand, I didn't really listen to her most of the time if I'm going to be honest. I was thinking about how the tour was already almost a quarter of the way done.

time flies when you're having fun I guess. I hadn't noticed that the stylist had directed me towards the washing station where she washed out my newly blonde locks.

I looked in the mirror as she dried my hair, it looked incredible. "Oh my GOD Milani!" Z exclaimed as she walked out of the salon with me,

"If Calum wasn't jacking off to the thought of you before, he definitely will now!" "OH MY GOD Z THAT WAS SO NASTY!" I screamed and she giggled.

We got back to the tour bus that was parked in a hotel parking lot, after climbing the stairs the first person we saw was Micheal, "Holy shit your hair looks incredible Mills." He exclaimed. I thanked him and continued to walk to my bed.

When I sat down and took a deep breath I saw luke in the corner of my eye standing by my bed, "Mills you can really pull of anything." He complimented before smiling and walking away. So far, the feedback has been good, but I still haven't seen Calum yet.

And I'm dying to know what he thinks.

I saw someone walked past my bed and luckily it was Micheal, "Hey, where is Calum?" I asked, "He's getting ready for the photoshoot we're all having tonight for some new merchandise, do you and Z wanna come?" Micheal offered. I nodded, if I hadn't agreed I wouldn't get to see Calum until late tonight.

I put on not that much makeup, just to let my skin breathe because my acne has been pretty bad lately. I got out a yellow tank and a few necklaces, quite a basic outfit because the heat was immaculate, "We gotta get going!" I hear Luke yell from the front of the bus.

I got up and grabbed my phone, Z came along after me and we made our way to a big grassy area with a beach next to it. I could see Calum, he was talking to the director. His eyes shimmered in the sunlight and his tanned skin was glistening, most likely from the heat.

He didn't look at the in the time I was standing by, most likely because he was busy taking photos, "Hey Milani do you want to have a photoshoot on the beach?" Z came up behind me.

"Um yeah." I took one last look at Calum, who was leaning towards the camera showing off his hat, and I walked with Z to the beach.

She took a few photos of me while we walked down the beach, she talked about Ashton quite a lot. It was obvious she really liked him and had no idea how to break the news.

We were just finishing up at the beach when Z got a call on her phone, "Hey Z, want to meet at the brockwood Cafe for dinner with everyone?" I heard Ashton speak, "Sounds great, see you there." She smiled at her phone after hanging up.

When we got to the cafe I saw all of them sitting at a table, there was a seat next to calum and a seat next to ashton that were together, "Looks like it's our lucky day." I looked at Z who had already noticed, "Oh yeah." She exclaimed.

When I sat down I looked over at Calum, who was distracted by Micheal speaking. I sighed and leaned my chin into the palm of my hand. Z gave me a sentimental look before Ashton grabbed her attention.

I don't want to be needy, but I was really hoping he would have seen my hair by now. It's not like his opinion is super significant, I guess. I took a piece of bread from the middle of the table and started chewing on it slowly.

I felt a pair of eyes burning into the side of my face so I looked over in their direction, "Milani your hair." Calum paused, my heart dropped at the bad start. I think he could tell I was anticipating a bad answer, he smiled, "It looks absolutely stunning." He spoke softy. 

I smiled, "here let me take a picture." He grabbed his phone and snapped a photo of me, continuing to smile while looking at it, "Would you two just fuck already." Micheal hollered from across the table, Crystals distaste for the comment was audible.

"They're so cute, wish I could have a relationship like that." Ashton said before taking a sip of his water. Z grinned, "Well you just have to ask someone out." she mentioned. He shrugged a little and continued talking to the person next to him, winning a defeated look from Z.

as the night came to an end I overheard Ashton offering to pay for Zelie's meal. They seem to like eachother but have no idea what the other person is thinking. We all stood up and walked towards the exit that was packed full of paparazzi, I felt a hand wrap around mine.

Calum smiled at me before we all walked out and into the tour bus.
