A Shot
Went off in the air and it caught my attention
In the moment I simply did not care about my previous minute intentions
Not about the ig followers and the twitter mentions
I was so frozen I forgot about my addiction I used to hid with my intelligent diction
Did I mention the shot
It was so loud that the noise of the crowd barely did anything to mask it
The shock only lasted until the last kid said with a scream "is he dead?"
I felt the coldness of death at the temple of my head
I did not completely know the cost
Then he bent down with a grim smile and said "You look lost"
