As I walked through the darkness I began to feel it
This..... is something real
It's unlike anything I've felt before.
Maybe once, but the feeling was inviting
It's raw, painful, dreadful, and sore
It's, in short....exciting.
I don't know if it was the feeling or the sound that caught my attention, but nevertheless it was enticing
It's ring cut through all of the tension between fact and fiction
Did I mention the shot
I snapped my fingers and arrived on the spot when I heard the little man ask "is he dead?"
The kid stayed still as I brushed my fingers through his head
I gazed at him for awhile and could've sworn we had already met
I looked down, smiled and said "You look lost".
I assumed he already he knew that I was death
But he smiled back, which never happens and made me cross.
He rose to his feet and towards me he crept
He grew bigger and when he was done my stature barely broke his shin.
He then sat down and said "thank you for letting me in"
