Xu Xinya hurriedly made her way back to the classroom. Since the lectures had started, most of the corridors had emptied out. On her way back to the classroom, Xu Xinya spotted only a few lost students.

All long, she couldn't stop herself from cursing her own oversight. "Damn, how could I be so stupid to not have guessed it sooner? If I get taken down by such measly tricks, how am I supposed to tackle that Shen family in the future?!"

Although, after her previous frivolous attitude, the setbacks had knocked some sense into her and shaped her personality to a maturer one, it had only been a relatively little time since she had vowed to change for the better. So, there was still a lot on the way to learn.

Xu Xinya was aware of her shortcomings... She knew she would have to face failure countless times in the future. After all, at the end of the day, she was still a human. And humans are not perfect. They are bound to commit mistakes despite absolute caution.

Thus, she had already decided to see those failures as positive experiences and learn from them to frame her future strategies.

Holding a notebook in her hands, she finally approached the entrance of the classroom. She stood there for a few moments, took a deep breath, and finally stepped inside.

...

Professor Yang was renowned not only in the Springfield university but the whole of the Imperial Capital. He was renowned for his uncompromisable temper regarding disciple, in addition, to also his quality lectures.

Since Springfield University was famous worldwide for its quality education, all of its professors were naturally highly paid scholars. Among all of those lecturers, to be able to maintain his distinguishment, that was indeed Professor Yang's merit.

Not only that, once a student breaks his rules, he would also make it his goal to make that student's life a Hell. If the student doesn't turn into a study maniac and attends each and every one of his lectures, turn in each and every assignment in time, he would fail that student without any hesitation.

No matter if it was some rich young master; no one would be given any leeway under his supervision.

The pupil that had gathered long before the actual timing of the lecture knew these facts by heart. Professor Yang's reputation spread across all the Capital. Thus, not daring to get on the bad side of this fearsome professor, they were already seated obediently appearing like terrified little puppies under the discipline of a strick dog tamer.

"All of them are here?" A grave voice asked as the Professor's Yang eyes cold eyes scanned across the lecture Hall. His arms folded behind his back. Although he asked this question, it was purely out of routine; he was pretty much certain none of those fresheners would dare to miss the first day of his lecture.

Not even the other semester students would dare to miss a single of his lecture. It had been so for the last ten years.

At his call, the assistant ran towards the Professor. Understanding the severity of the situation, the assistant didn't announce it aloud at first. Instead, he whispered quietly: "Professor, there is actually one that is absent."

Hearing his words, Professor Yang's expressions changed.
