Topper manages to catch up to us when we are about 15 minutes away from getting home, I just jumped into the truck not saying a word, not because I was annoyed just because I was way to deep in thoughts to consider the people around me

He didn't try to ask any questions about my strange mood he just drove straight home, him and Kie making mind numbing small talk in the front seat.

We get home and I get out of the truck as quick as possible going straight into the living room where everyone else was already sat waiting, I wait for Kie and Topper to come in and sit down before I tell the rest of the group what I think I found.

They get settled on a sofa and I make my announcement, "I believe they have stashed the gold in the tunnels" I address Sarah more than anyone else and she widens her eyes whilst thinking through the possibilities.

"Not all of it could be in the tunnels" she responds and I widen my eyes, shocked at the amount of gold that they must have, "well there must be a lot still stashed in them" I tell her and she nods her head in agreement. "Yeah your tunnels are quite large" Topper responds and I hear JJ choke back a laugh, making me do the same as I realise the alternate meanings.

Top grabs a pillow placing it over his face as he groans into it "I didn't mean it like that!" He exclaims in embarrassment after retracting the pillow, Sarah flares at him nonetheless, John looks to the floor and the rest of the group all wear a slight smirk, Topper sporting a heavy blush on his cheeks.

"Anyway back to the task on hand" I respond diverting the attention away from an extremely embarrassed Topper, "you guys can sneak in on Wednesday, no one will be in" Sarah looks at me confused and Kies shoulders drop as she realises what I'm going to do to get us a free house, "no one should be in anyway, not till next week" I shrug my shoulders, "plans changed I guess, Rafe was home" she opens her eyes further and the room goes silent, muted breaths being the only noise left.

"Right so Wednesday we getting our gold back!" Pope cheers enthusiastically and John B cheers along with him, I put on a forced smile and Kie looks over to me concerned, "No, we can't" she yells over the top of the boys cheers and they all look at her in annoyance, "why not?" John questions his anger being visible in his tone.

She looks over to me nervously before sighing loudly, "because Layla is going on a date to distract him" they look over to me and I scrunch my face up slightly "surprise"  I laugh out nervously and Top starts to shake his head, "No" he says simply and I scowl are him, "Top it isn't your decision" I argue and he just shakes his head at me in response.

"No, I agree with Topper" JJ yells and I turn my attention to him glaring at him slightly "it isn't your choice" I growl slightly and he laughs at me, "your kidding I'm sorry I don't want you to go on a date with a murderer" he mutters sarcastically

I turn my attention to Sarah, "Sasa, you know it's the only way" she winces and draws in a shallow breath, "using the trio names, that's a low blow" she warns me and I stare at her waiting for her response to the topic at hand, "do you think you'll be safe?" She questions and Topper stands up abruptly making him catch everyone's attention.

He stalks out the room and I shout after him causing him to turn round and address me, "what?" He spits viscously and my chest falls slightly, "Topper, come on, please" he laughs in a sadistic manner, "go get yourself killed I couldn't give a fuck" he yells before walking out and I stare after him blinking repetitively to keep the tears back.

I take a deep breath and clench my jaw turning back to Sarah, "I'll be fine" JJ scoffs and mutters something under his breath that I don't quite catch, "sorry, what was that?" He rolls his eyes and stands up walking over to me, his height helping him tower over me.
