Irresistible (Harry styles story/ fanfic)

Chapter 4

     We all got on our busses and the bus had dropped me and Zayn back off where it picked us up that morning.  

"So are you coming to Harry's?" Zayn asked me. "Oh yeah! Can I put my things back at my house  first?" I asked him pointing to my house. "Yeah sure!" He agreed.

Zayn followed me to my house, "you coming?" I asked him heading up my driveway. "Uh sure" he said. He followed me into my house. "Mom I'm home" I shouted. "Hm I guess no ones home" I realized. Zayn shut the door behind him and I started for the stairs. "Charlie keep Zayn company!" I said to my chocolate lab. Zayn chuckled and bent down to pet my dog. I threw my stuff onto my bed, and headed to my closet to get a sweatshirt. I pulled out a sweatshirt from my old school and pulled it over my head, and ran back down the stairs. "Ready to go?" I asked him. He nodded and we started walking to Harry's house, which wasn't too far away.

Me and Zayn actually got along really well. He was extremely easy to talk to and we had a lot in common. I feel like we'd be great friends, eventually. He was goodlooking but I don't know I just didn't think of him that way...

"How much farther?" I asked Zayn nonchalantly so it wouldn't seem like I was tired of walking. "It's just up the road" he pointed. Soon enough, we reached Harry's house. Zayn lead me up to the door and Harry opened it, embracing us both in warm hugs. He smelt delicious. Whatever cologne he wore was perfect. "How are you?" He asked me, looking deep into my eyes. I felt like he was trying to hypnotize me or something. "I'm good" I said with a smile.

He put his arm around me and led me inside. "Guys this is Cassidy" he started. "She's our new friend!" He said. There was all the boys I kind-of met today, which was Louis, Zayn, Niall, and Harry of course. Harry then introduced me to their friend Liam, who I hadn't met yet and he seemed like a very nice guy. There was also a girl there which was Louis's girlfriend. Her name was Eleanor. She was flawless, she would be a perfect be a model. I wasn't really good with meeting new people and easily talking to them but once I got to know them I was completely crazy around them. I took a seat on a couch next to Zayn. We got on talking a little bit more. 

"Pizzas here!" Niall screeched as he ran to the door. I jerked my head around to the door where a scrawny guy stood holding 3 pizza boxes and a bag of subs. All that for 7 people? I thought. Niall handed the guy some money and closed the door. He skipped into the kitchen and told everyone to come and get some food. I followed zayn. I felt like a lost puppy following him around but I really didn't know anyone else so basically that was my only resort.  

After we all finished up eating, we returned to the living room. Liam and Louis played some video games, Zayn, niall and Harry were deep in conversation, leaving Eleanor and I sitting there. I figured why not go talk to her? I stood up and took a seat next to her.

"Hey" she said giving me a comforting smile. "Hi" I replied. "GET EM LIAM!!!" Niall shouted across the room, at the tv, causing us to jump. I looked at Eleanor and she had a startled look on her face. "Guys.." I said shaking my head in disappointment, jokingly. She giggled and we easily got into conversation. We talked about school, hair, clothes, our families, friends and a bunch of stuff. I really started to open up to her. Talking to her came natural and I knew automatically we would be good friends.  

"It's so nice to finally have another girl around here!" She told me. I chuckled and I totally understood what she meant. It seemed crazy, being the only girl hanging aronud with five hyperactive guys all the time.

"Guys! Let's play a game!" Louis suggested. Everyone agreed that that would be a good idea and we gathered around Louis. "How about truth or dare?" Harry said with a wink and looked straight at me.. "I'm down" niall said. Everyone thought it would be fun. We all gathered in a circle. I sat next to Eleanor and Zayn.

"Okay Niall, you start!" Louis protested.  

"Okay okay. Umm, zayn! Truth or dare?" He asked.  

"Truth" he muttered.  

"Okay.. Do you have a crush?" Niall asked him flirtatiously.  

"Uhh" Zayn said awkwardly. He turned to me, his eyes making contact with mine quickly then he turned away. "Not really, no." He said slowly.  

Next.  

"Eleanor.. Truth or dare?" Harry asked her.  

"Dare! dare!" She chirped. 

"Okay I dare you to make out with your boyfriend in front of us" he commanded her. She rolled her eyes and grabbed Louis by his shirt and they went at it. It lasted only about 10 seconds until we all seen enough.  

Next.  

"Cassidy.. Truth or dare?" Niall questioned me. Oh god. Dare was never a good idea in a room full of guys. "Truth" I said. I was nervous for what he would ask me.  

"Do you like Zayn?" Niall spat out before I even answered. 

"What? I mean I barely know hi-" I started, "do you think he's cute at least?" Niall cut me off.  

"Yeah he's a good looking guy" I said. I could feel my cheeks blushing. "Do you have a crush on him?" Harry asked abruptly.

"No as I said I barely know him..." I explained again. I turned to Zayn and laughed a little and he shrugged. "So who do you like?" Niall questioned me again. "I uh I don't really-" I couldn't even finish my sentence before Liam cut in. "Stop putting her on the spot like that! She's gonna be scared of us all!" Liam joked to his friends. I chuckled awkwardly and looked around at everyone.

We played a few more rounds and I told everyone that my dad was picking me up in a few minutes. My parents never really liked me out past 10 on school nights. I guess it was my curfew. 

When my dad texted me he was here, I stood up and told everyone I was leaving. "Bye cass, nice meeting you, we have to talk again!" Eleanor said hugging me. "Bye" Liam and Louis said in sync. I waved to them. "Bye!" Harry shrieked at me, pulling me into a big hug. I laughed because he was shaking me. "Bye Harry!" I giggled. "Zayn, you need a ride home?" I offered because he lived literally down the street. "No, i've got a ride, thanks but I'll walk you to the door" he said coming up to me. I smiled and walked with Zayn to the door. I heard a few chuckles in the background as we walked. "I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?" Zayn asked me. "Yup! Same place as today" I joked. "Okay, bye babe" Zayn said, hugging me. I stepped out the door and ran to my dads car.

(When zayn returns after Cassidy leaves)

"I'll walk you" niall mocked zayn in a funny voice as Zayn returned to his friends as everyone laughed at Niall's imitation.  

"Aw looks like Zayn's got a little crush!" Liam joked pinching Zayn's cheek.  

"What?! No!" Zayn shouted. "Okay sure Zayn! You were practically drooling over her all night long!" Eleanor joked. 

"She is very cute.." Harry stated.

"Wow do I see a little competition?!" Liam joked. Everyone laughed and eventually went back to what they were doing. Tv, laptop, talking, laughing, etc...

(In the car: Cassidy and her dad)

"Hey hun!" My dad greeted me as i hopped into the front seat of his small black car.

"Hey dad" I said giving him an odd, one handed hug.

"I'm assuming your first day went well?" he asked, as he drove away.

"yeah, It was pretty good" I explained.

"Are the people nice?" he asked me. 

"Yeah, they're very..." I paused. "friendly"

"Well that's great, I'm glad you had a good day Cass" he said with a smile.
