After yesterday's incident, both teens managed to appear in the hotel and work together as usual, though the tension was more than palpable. They knew that they had no longer time and that separation was seeking them.
"Oh wait, where is the reception? Lilly asks and Pao chuckles.
"After all this time, you still don't remember?" Pao grins and leads her the way.

"Okay then," Lilly sighs, "I think our paths will end here." These words came so easily out of her mouth, without realizing the consequences.
Slowly but confident, Lilly turns her back to Pao as she wants to leave, when suddenly an odd feeling rises from within, making the young girl realize that she might have never the chance to meet this person ever again. Step for step, her feet could barely move forward. Like a loss of something valuable that would never return once she lets go of it.
The corners of her lips form into a smile as she tries to leave like the tough Lilly he would imagine. This moment in the life of the 19-year-old teen shows her, how hard it actually is, to let go. To let go of someone that desires your heart that much.
Even though she told herself that they could never be together, even though she told herself that they would never see each other again, sadness filled her entire heart.
After all, she could ask for his steam-, snap chat-, or maybe Instagram account. Lilly, of course, could never imagine in her entire existence to make the first step and ask for Pao's number.
The reason was, that she just saw no sense in asking anymore. It wasn't that she had no courage, after all they went through several embarrassing moments together within this one week, that this little question would be no act for the brunette.
In her opinion, it would only worsen the situation, to get remind all the time about your beloved one that can't be by your side. These arguments are spinning around Lilly's head. She even has the theory that Pao could think the same way.
"Wait!" Lilly hears Pao's voice, causing her to quickly turn around as she sees him approaching her.
"I almost forgot." He lets a sigh of relief out and grabs her arm as Lilly observes how he puts a bracelet, he bought from the festival, around her tiny wrist.
Her gaze shifts to his dimple that shows up as he smiles proudly at the bracelet, and she realizes, and admits to herself, that she loves him, that she loves him too much to just leave him like that.
Pao's stares into Lilly's eyes.
"Take care, Lilly," he says.
Lilly couldn't answer because if she did, she would burst into tears.
Eyes begin to shimmer, causing Lilly to turn quickly her back on Pao and leave. It is pure sadness that has taken control all over her heart.
Lilly didn't know what exactly they were, but this didn't matter to her. The only thing that mattered, was that Pao made this week less unbearable with him by her side, and that was something, what the young lady was surely thankful for.

The last days were a pure disaster for the young teen. She wasn't in the mood to do anything. Skipping meals became one of her regular habits. Pao was the only reason for Lilly to attend the hotel with happiness. Now that he is gone, she feels abandoned and sad.
She watched how easy her life switched back to her monotonous one. She truly loves him. In addition, she even began to blame herself, for not expressing her feelings.
"Lilly, wake up already!" Zoey groans loudly as she stands with crossed arms in front of her bed.
"I'm not going !" Lilly yells back.
"Oh come on, please, just because of this boy? You really are sick, Lilly, it's not normal." Zoey's expression dulls.
"Yeah, lovesick." That's the reason why I can't go. Also, he is not just a boy, he is my boy." The heartbroken lady laments as she pulls the blanket over her head.
Zoey face-palmed and yelps, "So what the hell should I say to the staff ?!"
"I told you. Well, that I'm lovesick."
"Girl, get your ass up, were already 20 minutes late." Zoey approaches her and pulls the blanket with anger.

Somehow, after an eternity and several slaps of Zoey, the teen finally managed to appear in the hotel. Everything is remaining by the old. The only new thing is the odd feeling of loss and sadness that surrounds her whole heart since yesterday.
She is standing again in front of the boring reception and observes the countless people that are patiently waiting in the row to finally check in.
Lilly sighs as she looks at the clock above her, remaining till break."Are you alright, Lilly?" Her colleague approaches with knit eyebrows.
"No, it's nothing, just a little tired, that's all. Lilly responds with a plastered grin.
"Then I'm relieved." The colleague smiles back.
"Lilly! Can you come, please?" Ana shouts and Lilly looks to her direction as she gazes at the people that surround her. For some reason, Lilly had an odd feeling that Pao might be with her too.
She rushed hopefully to Ana, but to her surprise, she's mistaken. "Lilly, could you please translate this letter?" Ana pleads, and kindly Lilly agrees.

After a while, Lilly came back home, carelessly changing her clothes into loose fitting ones. The brunette sighs and grabs for a bucket in the shelf while she thinks about a dish to cook before Renee and Zoey return. Lilly's mood coincided with that of the weather- gloomy and dreary. She became so sluggish, everything annoyed her in a sort of way. She tried to distract herself somehow, even if it was only reading crimes or going out with her friends, but unfortunately without any success. As if her injured heart needed appropriate time to heal...
She bends and feeds the birds, momentarily distracted by the sound of the bell. "I'm coming!" She coos, promptly unlocking the door.
"What took you so l-"
To her surprise, it was no other than Pao.
