Along came a Virus,

So along with many folks, current crisis has forced me to address the state of the garden. I have for the past few years successfully ignored it. I would from time to time look ever more wistfully out of the kitchen window, swearing this year would be the one I would get out there get there and knock the garden back into shape. Then go sailing. The trampoline on the patio draws the eye away from the bottom garden and out of sight was definitely out of mind. Down the steps has descended into a bramble and nettle laden Narniaesque wilderness. This wilderness is sadly, devoid of fauns and inhabited only by a forgotten and forlorn barbecue which rusts quietly in one corner, a crop of sun bleached plastic balls and a greenhouse missing several panes of glass that smells of tomcat.
