" MOM, I don't want it. I'm not even interested on that cigarette things! " I told Mom when she came home, saying that I should take her Business after i finish school. And i don't want it. Ever.

" You're my only child, the company will be yours soon. I'm just informing you so you can be prepared. " she said not giving attention to what i said.

" I said I don't want it, mom. I want to be what i want me to be. " I said. My tears are about to flow. Why can't she just support me on what I want. She's my mother after all. Dad left us and chose his business abroad that's why it's just me and my mom. He's an half- American and Italian and he's on Italy while me and Mom are here in States.

" You will take our business or i will stop sponsoring you on your college? " Napailing ako sa sinabi niya. How can a mother do that? Alam kong ako lang ang pwedeng pagmanahan ni Mommy ng business niya, it's just that, I feel that I won't fit that job.

" Dad never made me chose between two things. " panunumbat ko sakanya. I missed my Dad. Siya lang ang umiintindi sa akin. He's my partner. But he chose his business over me, over us.

" I am not your Dad. If you want to continue on what you insist, then go, from now on, remember that you just lost a Mother! " sabi niya at umalis sa harap ko. I can't stand living here.

I hurriedly went to my room and pack up things. I'm going to see my Dad. But I don't even know where he lives. Whatever, i'm gonna find him myself. I'm pretty sure that Mom will cut my cards, buti nalang at may naipon ako. Hindi kalakihan pero keri na para makarating ako kay Dad.

When I came to look at my cabinet, i saw na kakaunti lang ang pera kong nadoon and I remembered na nag-club nga pala kami last week. I spent half of my money partying kaya kakaunti na lang natira. I just wish this will be enough. Damn it.

I picked up my phone and dialed Jullyia's number, my friend, she's an Fil-Am but that's not important, hihiram muna ako sakanya at babayaran nalang.

" It's Pretty Jully speaking, " she said as she picked up the phone. She seems drunk. Nasa club siguro sila, ang ingay sa background e.

" Where are you- Hey! " I shouted at the phone, may kausap ata sya kaya pinatay niya ang tawag. Nerve of her.

I dialed her again but no one's answering kaya si Nina naman ang sunod kong tinawagan. She's my filipino friend, she lives nearby.

" Pass, Scar, may exams kami next week, i need to study para go na go sa Oxford ang ate mo. " panimula niya, sa tingin siguro nito sa-shot na naman kami.

" Gaga hindi. I need your help, " sabi ko as i bit my lip sa hiya. Ngayon lang ako hihingi ng tulong at utang pa talaga.
