You Are Amazing

(Since I tend to write a lot of deep in your feelings type of poems, here's one to make you feel good 💛)

Like fire your blaze grazes the sky
Brightening up the night where even the moon hangs high.

Like a toy, others like to dazzle in your flames,
and are surprised when they unhinge you, leaving just a frame.

What a shame, people can't recognize just how beautiful you are.
They'll look you over like you're just some sad old scar.

But, hey don't let that take away that smile,
it houses enough energy to light up roads for at least a mile.

And it's worthwhile, to be happy, not so hostile. And please realize they're just juvenile,

And they're stuck because they lack maturity
Not self aware enough to own their blatant insecurities

Hey, even the pope has his own impurities
So no need to fall into some deep dark obscurity

You don't have to become something you're not
Or else you'll drain yourself because the weight is a lot.

Be free, cause I can guarantee,
That your you, will always be great enough for me.
