"I know I could never deserve someone like him," a girl held her face, crying her heart out, "What if he doesn't feel the same way as I do? What if he doesn't love me back? What if we would not work out?"

"How could you even say that?" another girl scolded, "Could you forget all those "What ifs" cause every "ifs" of your fears are also the every "ifs" of thousands of possibilities." Holding back the tears, the girl looked at her, confusion clearly written in her puffy blue eyes, "Veronica... you should know you've placed your hands on the curtains of the most beautiful love story in the world," the girl told her.

"But Shae..." Veronica doubted. "Love is a beautiful thing. It's tragic but it's beautiful. It's sad yet at the same time joyful. It could send you flying at cloud nine or push you to hit rock bottom," Shae told her, "I can't tell you it would not hurt. Love is designed that way. Whether right or wrong, love will hurt you, love will make you smile, it will make you cry and love would turn your world go upside down."

After all the heart breaks and heartaches Veronica has come to the conclusion that she doesn't deserve love but somewhere in her heart she still hopes in love and Shae knows it. She knows what Veronica feels inside and she understand all the predicament she's been worrying.

"My brother," Shae spoke, "He's lucky to be loved by someone like you." "At least he is, my luck isn't even to compare," chestnut colored hair girl sarcastically noted.

As if reading the words behind her statement, Shae smiled sadly, "Why are you even so down to the idea that he can't love you," she gently told her.

"When did you last look at your brother? He's a demigod– silk-like raven hair, perfectly sculpted lips, flawless fair skin, detailed jaw, long lashes, perfect nose bridge," Veronica explained.

"So?" Shae raised her perfectly plucked eyebrow at her, "You're one of the most beautiful ladies that I've ever met. Kind, charming, and down to earth. If you ask me he's the one who doesn't deserve you and not in the way you're thinking."

"What are you bubbling about? You're Shae Ryan the most gorgeous girl the world has ever laid its eyes on," Veronica chuckled, "And you tell me I'm beautiful, you should take some eye check up or something."

"I'm serious though," the blonde girl giggled, "I'm not going to force you into anything just promise one thing, when you're ready. Please take a chance on it.""If that happens," Veronica sighed, "But yeah promise. Thanks Shae," she said hugging the girl beside her, "Anytime. Take care ok you have as much time as you need there."

Veronica left; her tear stained face was still apparent but she refused any further consolation, for her make up could cover her face like it always did.

Sprawling herself on the sofa, the blonde girl let out an exasperated sigh, "Lovesick fools."

"Since when can you produce a face like that?" Shae teased the guy standing beside her. He had a confused look when he faced the green eyed beauty, "What are you saying?" he told her making Shae chuckle to herself ."I shouldn't have asked since I already know why," a knowing smile formed on her lips, "She's pretty by the way." "What are you saying Shae?" he asked with the same confused look. "Theodore Ryan you may fool the entirety of Italy with your acting skills but you can't fool your own sister," she said as a matter-of-fact, "I know something had change, something was switched on behind those emerald eyes." "Why are you acting like such an expert," Theo chuckled.

"And to think you've been in more relationships than I am," Shae mused picking up a magazine under her coffee table. A smile formed on her lips.
